MAKE YOUR HONDA SOUND LIKE A JET FIGHTER.
I bought this recently to finish off my Exhaust from the Header I had already installed of the same manufacturer.Welds were great, shipped quickly and safely, nothing broken or any damage and had all needed parts, bolts, nuts and gaskets.I reused My stock Catalytic Converter since it was perfectly fine and would meet up this exhaust system. There are three (3) bolts and nuts that mount the stock catalytic to the stock resonator. On my stock catalytic Those three (3) bolts were deformed and rusted to an un-torque-able shape. I had the convenience of doing this work at a MWR Autocraft shop with access to an Air cutter (Pneumatic rotary saw), if you do not have access to such a tool then this will be more difficult to complete the job. You can tell if this will be a problem for you buy getting under neath your car and locating the catalytic converter where it connects to the resonator and looking at the three bolts there.you have three options to solve this problem.Option 1. buy an appropriate size CARBIDE drill bit from lowes and drill out the three bolts.Option 2. If you have the time to spare then you can separate the catalytic and locate a machine shop nearby and have them drill out the three bolts for you for a fee.Option 3. Using an air cutter I first cut the resonator pipe close to where it meets the catalytic to simplify things. Then using the air cutter I cut along the indentation where the two pipes meet and separated them as evenly as possible.I then Ground down what was left of the three bolt heads, being careful to not grind through the catalytic converter metal itself.I then used the Air Cutter to cut thinly into the "middle point" of each remaining bolt while still in it's hole. by doing this I cut what is left of the bolt in half and then using a hammer and punch ;punch out what is left of the three bolts leaving three bolt holes and ready to be mated to the new Resonator! This worked perfectly fine and it all went together very well and No my EJ8 sounds like a Jet fighter when it hits 4K RPM and up!

Sounds like a fly trapped in a tin can
The media could not be loaded. It sounds like a ricer honda pipe, but it fits on the car perfectly. It comes with grade 8 Hardware, all the gaskets (except for the donut gasket!) and for $160 it can’t be beat for the catback piping alone. You can always upgrade the resonator and muffler later (which I highly recommend), because the stainless pipe is genuinely high quality.

No rasp after a week. Nice low tone.
Bolts right up and fits correctly. If you install it without the silencer it will be raspy at first, especially at high rpms. It's definitely quieter with the silencer however, at high rpms it vibrates against the muffler tip, because they only provide two bolts to hold it on. I used black instant gasket/rtv, to seal and cushion the metal to metal rattle noise which is horrible I must say. After a week of driving around with the silencer in, I noticed the exhaust note changing, and getting even more quiet. I then removed the silencer and it's not raspy at all anymore and has a great low note. It breaks up a little after vtec engagement but still sounds wonderful not like other raspy non-resonated, straight pipe exhaust systems. I noticed after installing, the exhaust emitted a whitish smoke for a few days but it did stop, I guess it's part of the break in process.

The fit and finish of the product appeared to be excellent, but after one and half year later the Muffler seam weld came apart.
This unit fits my 99 Honda Civic EX Coupe. The fit and finish of the product appear to be excellent. The hangers were all in the proper locations. There are two issues though I have with this unit. First the 4 inch tip rubs the bottom of the rear bumper. Perhaps a 3.5 inch tip instead of this units 4 inch would be a better choice. Longer rear rubber hanger isolators might help. Second it's loud even with the cone silencer installed. The car still has the Cat and stock headers. I did not notice any power gains, just noise even with the windows up. I'm researching now on how to quiet this system short of replacing a brand new muffler.Bottom Line: If you like it Loud, this a great unit for the money. If you want stock quiet, look elsewhere.Update:After one and half year later the intake side of the Muffler seam weld came apart. The seller only warrenty items for 90 days. This is a stainless steel system that is already broken. If you want something that lasts, spend more money and buy a unit from a brand name that backs their products.

I absolutley love the sound of the exhaust
I absolutley love the sound of the exhaust. Preferably without the silencer. Its loud but not ricer loud in my opinion. At idol it is relatively quite, and has a progressive sound while accelerating. If around police if you are light on pedal it sounds stock. I recommended this to the girl I changed the exhaust for. I have bought exhaust systems from amazon before for my Infiniti G35. Once again I was satisfied. I had a few issues with the exhaust but that wasn't because of the exhaust itself, but because the person before straight piped it. I had to add about a foot or two of pipe to get it to reach. As i said not an issue due to the system itself. Id recommend this highly to others.

fit right on the honda civic
So I have a 1998 honda civic lx 4dr (I'm a ricer for now but won't be for long) I want to just make everything I say clear here. I give the spec D exaust a 5/5 because it doesn't sound like a weed Wacker it sound good, it's a deep idk how to explain the sound but it sounds pretty good. Not cheap at all well made, the weld jobs are good. Comes with the all the exaust piping except a test tube which I need for my car for everything to fit in place. Overall great product for a get price!also there is a silencer that comes included(already on the muffler, took mine off haven't tried it yet. Ollnly thing that's kinda bad and that I need to research is why is my exaust shaking? Don't know why but I'll look it up hopefully and prolly get some answers!
