Surprisingly generic. Works but not for long.
I purchased these headphones approximately one year and a few months ago. I needed a set of quality headphones for the gym. Nothing top of the line but nothing cheap either. I eventually came across the Bluedio R+ Legend due to their great reviews. The reviews praised this product for amazing sound quality and bass and indeed they were right. The sound quality is crisp. The volume is great - max volume starts hurting my ears but keep in mind I have sensitive ears so I don't need that much volume. The bass is also incredible. The headphones noticeably shake on their own at max bass. Also the leather held up pretty well. Minimal tear after a year's worth of use. Also, the headphones fit very snug on my head. Never once did they fall off even under the most intense of exercise - jogging, situps, pullups, squats, etc. Comfortable too - I could wear them all day. And they hold up well against sweat. Finally, battery life is amazing. Lasted as long as advertised. I used them for about an hour each day at the gym and worked out for 6 days a week. They would last for roughly two weeks before needing a recharge. But that's where the praise ends and the criticism begins.Within a week or two from originally buying this product, for some strange reason the bluetooth stopped syncing to my phone. That didn't seem to bother me since I uploaded all my music on a microSD card (sold separately) and wanted to maintain my iPhone's battery life. Just a few weeks after that, the shuffle button (made out of cheap plastic) was stuck and "compressed in." All the other buttons worked just fine months after but this is what happens when you use cheap material - the ultimate downfall of this product. Continually, the design and placement of the buttons on the outside (increase/decrease volume, sync, and next/previous song) is in an awkward position. Even months after using this product, I still accidentally kept hitting the sync button located in the middle which would stop the current song and enter sync mode for a full minute. I would have to take the headphones off so I could locate the power button, turn them off, and back on losing quality workout time (a minor complaint but a complaint nonetheless).Just a few months after that, the plastic in the middle which holds the headphones over your head began to crack. Small at first, then bigger, bigger, and it finally cracked being held together only by the audio wires. The headphones were finished. The material? Cheap plastic. Even though I did use them at the gym, I was very careful with them - never once dropping them or banging them up against anything. The problem here is not the user but the plastic which weakens over time after putting them on your head. You'll get approximately a year's worth of use out of them, no more then 2. I was hoping they'd last for at least 2 years which is why I removed 2 stars. Had Bludio used a stronger material - you would get year's worth out of this product. But because they used plastic, I now have to buy another set.I'd like to say it's possible to find a quality set of over the ear headphones for less then $100 since nothing in the actual product is really super expensiveitself but companies will always continue to cheap out on the materials and let consumers rebuy them every year.

First class customer service!
I took the plunge with purchasing these and really was sold by the micro sd card aspect, enabling me to have a one piece headphones with music and all. From reading the reviews I was hesitant to purchase due to quality aspects such as the material used for manufacture and the overall quality of these headphones as reported by other users. Now just to make it known I take care of my things and figured like the rest, if I took care of these, they should last. More often than not people just really don't know how to take care of their things right? To put it this way, I really took care of these and have a felt bag for them. I used them about 5 times a week for an hour a day and always loved the ease of use, comfort, and beautiful sound quality. HOWEVER, after owning these headphones for 4 months and truly enjoying the sound, deep bass, clarity, and extremely convenient micro sd card I went to pull them out for use a few days ago. To my surprise when I pulled them from my bag the ear on the left side had fallen completely off and along with the connecting cords from their solder post. Upon inspection there are two tiny "plastic" tabs that initially hold the ear on and I couldn't get it to reattach to that specific part being constructed somewhat cheaply. Due to the warranty I contacted Bluedio to let them know, sent pictures, and through a total of about 3 emails had a very pleasant and to the point experience with their customer service. They upgraded me to the UFO model due to its build quality and gave me some options. Two days later I received my new upgraded model. Suffice it to say, the UFO sounds just as good as the R+, just slightly less bass. Don't make the assumption that means no bass though, because it kicks nicely. Just not as reverberating as the R+. The UFO is a much better build quality and doesn't flex the shape of the headphones when holding it like the R+ does. It is what I should have purchased to begin with. The only downside is the lack of micro sd card, but I'll just store my music on my phone. Initially this review was going to be 2 stars but due to excellent and lightning fast customer service from Bluedio this is definitely 5 stars. Lesson learned? Get the UFO over the R+

Wish the quality of material was as good as the sound
The negativeProduct was ordered just before Christmas. So it obviously took forever and shipped to Alaska at that. The product arrive in an obviously used state. Upon opening the package, there were greasy fingerprints all over the headphones. There was what looked to be food on one of the ear piece cushions. The wires were jammed into the small box with no wire ties or some way to keep them neat. After connecting to my Bluetooth device, I wanted to change the sound qualities. It's my understanding from reading reviews that it has settings for this. As I'd forgotten how to change these, I wanted to look at the directions. There were none. So I had to google it. And obviously along with other reviewers. There is an obvious lack of quality in durability. Weak point being where it folds. I noticed that after about 15 mins of wearing I started to sweat around my ears.ProsSound quality is amazing, outruns Beats any day. Can't beat the price for it. They look nice, not over the top like skull candy.Update:So they have been sitting in my desk drawer for the past six months broken. The part where the earpieces Fold has broken on both sides rendering them useless. I tried to take it apart and the ribbon cable broke. Finding replacement parts for this unit has been impossible, I'm dreading throwing them away as the sound quality is still top-notch. So the search will continue for replacement parts

Very good value with offer, great sound & bass, easy setup and way better than standard bluetooth
Very good quality with the enhanced bluetooth technology (the code in 'tech speak' escapes me now) but essentially.. If you have a bluetooth on your phone (most from 10 years ago did) then these will work wirelessly, but if you have a recentish smartphone that's made in the last couple of years, it's sure to have it this new audio tech. I have the galaxy note 4 and macbook pro 2015, so my review based on that - these both have it. Essentially it massively increases the quality of the sound you listen, so that if you plug in the wire that comes with it to your phone, you wouldn't notice any difference in sound quality. I also own a phone without this advanced tech, and there is a drop in quality (not volume) - so these are definitely for your 'recommended list' if you appreciate a high sound quality, and losing the wires is a must. The battery is rechargable, and within the headset itself, you can't remove it, so you charge it much like a phone, you plug the micro USB cable into any USB device and it will charge - I have used my phone charger to do it, as well as the side of my laptop and even my cinema system USB plug. On a volume setting of about 60-70% these headphones will last about 16 hours solid on a full charge over bluetooth, easily enough for a full day's use if you charge at night, and certainly enough to charge once a week if you're using it a couple of hours on the bus/train a day.Volume is (for me) great. It is too loud for comfortable use at max volume, which is how I like it, because I am never maxing out and wanting more. The sound quality even at 100% is good, but I dont use them there, I would say I sit at 50% and they sound great, rich deep bass and yet very clear all the way through. You will hear sounds in music that you never knew existed when compared with cheaper headphones (the ones you got with your phone). Certainly if you accidentally set the volume to max and play a song, you will need a change of underwear as you hear the first tone of it.They also contain a microphone built into the bottom of the right earpiece, so you can potentially hold a phone conversation without taking them off, and the mic would only be a couple of inches away from your mouth (you may look daft tho!) Either way, I have done this, and the other person could hear me almost as well as using the phone itself, a definite use if you have music playing over your phone and then you get a call, it will cut into your music, you answer the phone as normal on the handset, and just talk like hands free. You are also able to remote-control the changes of the song playing, and play/pause using the headset (over bluetooth) so no wire is needed. That said, if you try and change the volume, it changes the volume of the sound played in the headset (which is seperate than changing the volume of the sound coming from the phone). Think of it like having 2 separate volumes, and both need to be on full, to hear it at full volume. If either is set down and the other on full, you will hear nothing, so what I do is have the headset on 75% volume all the time, the phone set to about 75% all the time, and the overall result is about 50% volume. That way I can increase the volume using the headset to 100% if I want it louder, but because the phone is still at 75% - the overall volume is 75%Pairing to your phone or laptop etc is really easy. You turn the headphones on and then long-press the power button (short press would turn it off). The light the flashing blue/red and on your phone/laptop go into bluetooth settings and hit search. You find the R+ and hit pair, and it's done, you will hear sound straight away. On the laptop you will have an extra option in your output for sound - you can listen now using laptop or headphones at will. The phone will default all sound to the headphones. On my note I can "ok google" then ask a question and it will answer me, a bit like siri for apple, and you can set it to always listen out for this, at risk of the battery draining, so I don't do that, but for those who do leave that on all the time, the headphones can be set to do this (goto bluetooth settings on your phone and check the 'OK google over headphones" option - it's off by default even if it's on just normally). They are also very comfortable, and easily worn for an hour or 2 at a time. Obviously they are quite big (but surprisingly light) and comfy around the ears, but you ears will warm them up after a while and (maybe just me) I find after a couple of hours, they are a bit warm, almost like wearing a beanie hat inside for long periods, but then again I use them outside or on the bus normally. I will say, the positive side of this is, in winter like we just had, they WILL keep your ears lovely and warm, without the need for a hat in the cold!If you wear a hat, you can still use these, but will need to increase volume a bit while increases the sound leak, which is actually not too bad considering how loud they go. At full volume, you will annoy the person sat next to you on a train etc, but at 50-60% they wouldn't be able to tell you had them on or not.If you are going to be away from a power source for a few days, then maybe these aren't for you if you intend to listen for anymore than 16-18 hours between charges. Also there is a blue light which flashes every few seconds to indicate power / connection, and while this is pretty dim and unobtrusive, listening to them at night in a pitch dark room, it could become annoying to someone on your immediate right trying to sleep if they are facing you. my only other concern is the lifetime of these - I use them quite often and the battery can't be replaced, so i'm unsure on battery type, but generally after 500-1,000 charges, most rechargeable batteries start having a significant reduction in full charge capacity, but I've had these several months and had maybe 200 charges so far, and this isn't an issue yet.I hope this review helps people decide if it's for them or not, I have owned 1 previous bluetooth headset and about 10 wired ones over the years, and can without any doubt say these rank up there with the £80-£100 wired headphones no problem. If you have a £200+ wired headphones, you will notice a slight reduction, but then again - these don't cost £2005*

Good value and excellent customer service
I bought these head phones nearly a year ago but wanted to write a review now due to a recent good customer service experience I had with Bluedio.Firstly these headphones are good quality especially for the price compared to similar other majorly overpriced brand models. Good quality sound through all the ranges and with enough noise cancelling to make your music experience very enjoyable. Now I recently had a problem with a crack appearing in the head band but as soon as I contacted Bluedio a replacement pair where in the post. Now you can't ask for much better than that!I have noticed a couple of minor issues:Problems reconnecting when the Bluetooth connection is lost - I use a Bluetooth dongle on my ipod Classic which can come loose and reconnecting can really be hit of miss which can be frustrating. I pretty sure its not an issue with the dongle as I have a another pair of lower range wireless Bluedio headphones for the gym and they reconnect much quicker.Size: these headphones are pretty big so there is nothing subtle about them but I guess to get the sound quality at a reasonable price you can live with things like this. All in all I'd certainly recommend this product.

Favourite headphones
Amazing quality. The sound is clear and precise. The bass isn't too mad, but a nice warm tone. The bluetooth range is good and the battery lasts for a very long time, but it's also charged using a micro-usb port, which is a very universal charging wire. The buttons are a little slow, in that there is a half second delay from when you press a button to when the action will actually take place. The ear cussions are very comfortable, as is the top head band. I've never used the NFC feature, but I think that's dope. It will only accept media cards up to 32GB, and because of that you can play music, even when your phone has died. They are not invincible, after a year or so of heavy daily use the hardware broke (the head band snapped). If used sensibly they won't break, generally pretty durable, I'm just a rough person. They do not connect properly with Logic Pro on Mac, and I have no idea why. So if you hoped to us these for music production, be weary. However, these headphones are crazy good. My favourite pair I've ever had the honour of using, especially for the price. These were made to compete with Beats, and I'd definitely rather buy two of these instead of one pair of Beats... Which I could do, and still have cash left over.

Avoid avoid avoid!
Got these headphones as part of a black friday deal but even at £40 I don't think this hunk of junk is worth it! The audio cable port broke after just 3 days of use meaning the only way to use them was wirelessly. Most importantly audio sounds very muddy and quiet through these headphones no matter the music genre (I listen to a wide range of genres from classical to d&b) Not to mention the bluetooth range for these headphones is very very small, I used to have a pair of August EP650s that had perfect signal with my phone from across the other side of the house. The range of these headphones barely extents across a room. They also feel rather cheaply made. Very disappointed.

Blown away by Bluedio Bliss!
I have three sets of bluetooth headphones, and these are by far the most superior. All the instruments and vocals sound as they should, which is what we all want from headsets. The major plus here is that the volume is astoundingly loud and you get the impression that you are listening to a powerful stereo unit strapped to your head. It really is a glorious sound, whether you're listening to disco, rock, reggae, or pop. I may not be too keen on the size of the set - they are pretty huge - but you do get used to them. I am also pleased that you can use the controls to scan through long tracks to get to your favourite bits. Very helpful when it comes to over-long musical classics. The significant price drop to £57 helps too - they were originally £92.
