Serpent's Kiss Review by Baroness' Book Trove
This book is soo good. I know that I didn't review the first book but I read the first book last year so I can't exactly do that. But this book is soo good. It basically continues off with the end of the last book where Freddie is having Freya spy on her fiance so that they could find his trident so that they can prove Freddie's innocent. But in doing so we find out a whole lot of things. This book series is a lot different from the television series, that even though has the same name, is not the same as the book series. For one Ingrid isn't the same at all. A lot of is different and that is a good a good thing.I love this book and even more so when we find out who actually took Freddie's trident and is still around just not in the same year/time of when everyone else is. But this book is a good one and it's just so good.I will recommended this book to everyone that has read the first book. There is one other book and I so can't wait to read it after I get caught up.To read more of my reviews please go onto my blog: [...]

Speechless
I loved this book. It is very well written and is far more exciting than the first one. The fact that Fryr is back adds a new interest to the book, as his story ha always been on the shady side. Also the fact that we are learning alot about Killian and his past as well, is alluring because we don't know until the very end what will happen between him and Freya.Very nice book which i read in 3 days, but enjoyed every minute of it.Congratulations Melissa!

I couldn't put it down!
I really enjoyed the second installment of The Beauchamp Family Series by Melissa de la Cruz. We got to see more of Freya, Ingrid, and Joanna, as they are now able to practice magic, and are now embracing their love lives as well.In Serpent's Kiss, we get to see Freddie, Freya's twin brother return after being gone forever, and the mystery that surrounds him, as well as get to see more mythological creatures, and get more backstory of the whole family. I started this book last night and was unable to put it down. I was so intrigued by all the plot twists and turns, and everything that was happening that I needed to know what was going to happen next.I loved watching Matt and Ingrid's love story play out, even if I did get really annoyed with both of them. Watching Killian and Freya continue to fall more and more in love with one another was amazing, even with everything that was thrown at them in this book was beautiful. I really want them to get their HEA in the third and final book! This book definitely had a lot of plot twists and turns, and there wasn't much of page fillers that made the story drag on, like most second installments in a series. I truly adore Freya, Ingrid and Joanna and after how this book ended I am definitely diving into the third and final book ASAP to see how everything plays out for this family. If you love paranormal with a side of mythology romance, I highly suggest picking up this series today. The writing is beautiful and the characters amazingly written and unique in their own way!

Love Love Love
Melissa de la Cruz never stops making me proud of being the fantasy romance lover that I am. I started with the Blue Bloods and kept going with the witches and fell just as much in love with them as I am with Jack and Mimi Force and Schyler Van Allen. Cruz is one hell of a writer and the Witches of East End are a wonderful read. They pull you in and put a love spell on you just as much as the fallen angels trying to find the path back to heaven. Ingred and Freya are strong, smart and sexy sisters that I look forward to reading more of. There is always a good twist at the end and I am always dumbfounded and surprised by them. I went on to Wolf Pact as well just to be more amazed at the details and the complications of the characters and their battle against lucifer and the fight for paradise.

While I love the Beauchamp witches
Serpent's Kiss suffers from second book in a trilogy syndrome. While I love the Beauchamp witches, this book just a fluff filler. I still very much enjoy that they are Goddess's of the Norse Mythology, and that they have powers. We see the return of Freya's twin Freddie in this book, as well as Joanna's husband Norman. Ingrid finds love with a human, and gets involved with some pixies who need her help remembering where they are from. Still one of my favorite witch stories and re-reading the series makes me long for the television series. If only we could have had one more season.

Serpent's Kiss
Serpent's Kiss , is great fun, and a fun summer read . I greatly enjoyed the first book in the series, which I read last summer . I'll be reading book # 3 next June 2013 as soon as it's published. This is a really fun, and engaging series, and worth reading for the charming characters, and to see how they sort through all the various problems that arise.

Excellent book! Great read!
I read the Witches of East End book series after watching season one of the witches of east end on lifetime, of course I was worried, because as they say don't read the book after seeing the movie or the TV show, but it didn't matter with these books. The books are great, I enjoyed them as much as the TV series, they were different enough to enjoy. Being a Long Island girl born and bread it was interesting to watch t he series and read the books knowing that Shelter Island, NY, where my ancestors are from, was the inspiration for the location of these books. Definitly worth reading and also worth watching the TV series.

Witches of East End 2

A fantastic read!
Am caught up with these books now, lost in the world of witches! Can't wait for the next one - there should have been more in the series. I'm a true fan, can't wait for more! A good read for sure!
