Nice sound, solid mount
Great little bell what I like -It’s loud and compactThe mount is metal not plasticLooks goodDislikes -Can scratch through the clear coat on the bellCheck the screw on top of the bell for tightness, may come loose if the bell spins, should have used thread lock during assemblyDef worth the money, should last a long time but cheap enough to replace if not.

Best bell I’ve ever seen or heard
Great bell. The bell didn’t fit my bike; Which was sad because it is the most adorable, charming, petite and nice sounding bell I’ve ever seen or heard. I was pleasantly surprised by the petite size. It’s perfect. Other bells are too bulky and annoying in sound. This bell, is great in every way.Although, it didn’t fit MY bike...It is likely, my fault for not measuring the handle bars, first. But the seller was kind to my mistake and gifted me the bell. They never pointed out my impulse buy before measuring my own bike bars.I wish it fit. Maybe, I’ll buy my next bike to fit the bell. 😂

Good, but...
OK, first, I like the all metal construction. It is really solid and looks great. What I don't love is that the bell part unscrews pretty easily. In fact, this is my second bell, because the first one fell off (likely while it was on the bike rack on a road trip). When I got my new bell I put a couple drops of Loctite on it. Haven't had a problem with the new one unscrewing. The other minor issue is that the "ding" is really high pitched. Much higher than other bells I have had. Personal preference, I guess, but I prefer a lower pitched bell. I think It's easier for other riders/hikers to hear. BTW, I mount these bells backwards, so the "thumb" pad is facing forward. That way I can reach over with my index finger and hit the bell rather than taking my thumb off the handlebar. I find it is safer when I'm descending a mountain bike trail.

I like this bell
Fits modern MTB bars and it creates a loud "ding". For years I kept telling myself to buy a bell to help avoid surprise encounters with hikers and bikers. I feel silly for not getting around to this sooner. So 5 stars for this bell's primary purpose. Use the lever and it goes ding. It's pretty loud, it's compact, and it works. And while it does it's thing quite well, I wasn't expecting a reliable effect it would have on other humans. People have this Pavlovian-like need to get out of the way when they hear the "ding". Using a bell is a courteous way of alerting people to your approach. Yet, when people hear the ding, their immediate reaction is to make way for the bell ringer. Everyone just gets out of the way. It's amazing. It makes me feel kinda guilty, however, because everyone has an equal right to the trail. For a little while I considered throwing people treats, but then I decided that it would be easier to express my sincere thanks as I pass by. It's less awkward and still a suitable way of positively reinforcing their behavior. In summary: That's a good bell! ... you are a very good bell.

Works well
I've had too many instances of calling out "on your left" or "on your right" only to have the walker suddenly move to that side of the trail. I've had better luck with just ringing my bell which usually makes them look and then move in a reasonable manner. And frankly, it's easier. This bell replaces my previous (similar) one whose striker fell out after just a few months. This one looks like it's attached better, but only time will tell. It is reasonably loud and was easy to install.

Loud bur not consistent
Bell feels very quality and sturdy. Seems to be made fully of metal vs plastic. You can adjust tightness of bell to stifle how piercing the ring is. That being said I have to stike the bell a few times to get a ring. I thought that the design of this would prevent the same issue I was having with my old plastic bell but it didn't. If anyone has recommendations on how to avoid this I'm happy to hear.

*** For Whom The Bell Tolls ***
I know there are some mixed reviews regarding this bell, but you may need to consider the following...1) If it scares people, try ringing it at a further distance as you approach, especially if you're coming in Hot... (Not rocket science here)2) If the bell misfires, there is an adjustment for the striking hammer (No Engineering Degree Required)3) If people are walking "alone", they typically have ear buds in and are listening to loud music.. Nothing short of a stun gun is likely to get their attention, so adjust your expectations accordingly. If walking in pairs, they are usually talking, and so will more than likely (under usual circumstances) hear the bell as you approach. - This technique is called observance and common sense..4) I gave it 4 stars because, (like everything known to mankind), it's made in China

Remarkably good
Pretty subtle looks, and close to the performance of my crane bell. Nice volume and tone, and a long sustain. I'm really taken back how good this is.

Si sente molto bene
Ottimo campanello.
