I have had my Douxury Backup Camera for a few months now. I received it on time, well packaged and in good overall condition. The installation was very straightforward, directions were good. There is no wiring between the monitor and the camera. You do need power to both the camera and the monitor. This can easily be done through the 12 volt accessory plug in your vehicle or RV. The camera can get its power from the rear lights or whatever is available on your RV. I had an existing camera that had gone bad. It was a factory installed unit so I had wiring already in place that I was able to attach to. I'm sure you want to know how it works. It works great The picture is bright and clear both day and night (my old camera was only working in black and white). I was concerned about it being wireless when traveling. However I have had no issues with the signal strength. I use the camera to monitor my "toad" Jeep. Having such a clear picture and being able to monitor the Jeep that I'm towing is a big stress relief. It makes for a much safer drive. I also use the camera when the Jeep is disconnected to back into campsites. This has made things much easier than watching my wife waving her hands and all directions lol. I am very pleased with my purchase. I felt the price was extremely reasonable. I was super impressed with the quality far succeeded my expectations. This was definitely a purchase that I wish I made much earlier, having had my old camera with a fuzzy black and white picture for years. The Douxury RV Backup Camera works extremely well is easy to install and at a reasonable price point.

Installed in my horse trailer to watch my precious cargo as we travel! Works great. Purchased a second camera to install in my sister's trailer which I also pull. Easy pairing and adding the second camera. I just switch channels depending which trailer I am hooked to. Truck installation is simple plug and play. Trailer installation just requires tapping into a hot wire and I then need to drive with my running lights on to have a camera view. Pretty simple. Customer service and communication was great! Highly recommend.

Wow! Super easy install and very great quality! I was so shocked how fast and easy it was to set up. I'm preparing for getting my first camper trailer in the next week and wanted to be prepared and safe. I even tested the strength and literally placed it 16 ft away first.. And then took the camera with a small 12v battery to my back yard around 60 ft and it still cleared connection! Totally recommend. Can't wait to get my camper!

The system worked as designed, was easy to install (I replaced my existing but terrible Furrion system with this) and seems to work pretty well. It would be nice if it were a bit wider angle, but since it's a 4 channel system, I'm planning to add another camera to view directly behind me at speed. It would be helpful if the system already came with the longer bracket, as the one included somewhat limits how the camera can be positioned. Even if it were just a $5/$10 difference to get the bracket and an antenna extension, it would be a nice option (like standard kit, extended kit). The picture was great in the day. I haven't yet tried it at night. I haven't used the backup lines, but I expect they will be somewhat generic, and totally serviceable once I learn where they align with my RV. I'd recommend the system to others; super hard to beat for the price. The included sun shield for the montor is a very nice addition as well.

Camera and monitor work great. I use as a secondary camera on our motorhome. I must also note customer service is excellent I had an issue and resolved immediately. E-mail relies same day although early morning. Highly recommend.

Update: Douxury reached out to me regarding my back up camera. Douxury shows that they are first and foremost concerned that the customer is happy with their purchase. They went above and beyond to stand behind their product. I am completely happy with my purchase and would purchase from them again. First the good: the resolution of the image on the 7" screen is very good. I can easily see enough detail to make my drive safer when pulling my 26' travel trailer. I did mount the camera about half way up the back of my trailer rather than near the top like so many are mounted. When I tried it near the top, it was not usable as both a back up camera or a rear view camera (like a mirror would provide). It was one or the other. When I put it in the middle, I can see behind my trailer just like an image I would get from a rear view mirror. The camera has a wide enough view to see the ground about 2 feet behind my bumper yet still allow me to see far enough down the road behind me to determine if someone is approaching me from behind. The second good thing about it is the signal strength is very good. On my maiden trip with the camera, I drove from Northern California to Seattle area and then back a week later (about 15 hour drive each way). Even with my camera mounted in the middle of the rear of my 26' trailer and my display mounted on a tablet cup holder in the center console of my Ram 1500 I didn't see it loose connection ever. Now for the bad: Even though the camera has 1080p resolution, the frame rate is only around 15-20 fps. There is some jerking motion in the video. The worst part about the camera is it's recording feature. On my trip, it only recorded from 4:53 PM to 5:18 PM in 1 minute intervals even though I drove until 12:00 AM with the camera on the entire time and the red dot showing on the display. The second day it recorded from 8:31 AM to 9:02 AM and then again stopped recording. I arrived at my destination around 6:00 PM. My trip home it recorded from 8:38 AM to 9:05 AM, stopped recording until 10:58 AM where it only recorded until 11:01 AM. It stopped recording at 11:01 AM and didn't start recording again until 10:38 PM where it recorded until 10:47 PM where it once again stopped. I arrived home at 12:10 AM. Every time a new segment was being recorded, I was stopped either at home, destination, rest area or gas station. Every time I stopped, I pressed the button on the power adapter so that the display wasn't powered while I was stopped. I don't think that had anything to do with it since I made many more stops than it made recordings. The other things that I am disappointed in are that the recordings are mirror images over what I see in my display. Everything that was on the right side was on the left, left side was on the right and all of the signs and writing were backwards. The display showed the live feed correctly though. Finally, the last thing that disappointed me was that the recordings are only in 1280x720. The recording details says they were recorded at 30.00 FPS but they have the same jerky motion that the live feed has in the display. Unfortunately with the low resolution recording (and the issue of it choosing very sporadically when it would record) it renders that feature completely useless. For the price of the camera I would consider it a good buy since it did solve my main goal of being able to see what was behind me while I was towing. If they wouldn't have advertised it with recording capabilities I wouldn't have been as disappointed in its performance and might have given it another star. Since they did advertise it with recording capabilities and touted its 1080P resolution, it left me disappointed that it didn't perform like it was advertised to do.

Installation was fairly quick and quite easy. The camera and monitor together give 1080p and the picture is very nice and clear with the 7 inch monitor. I especially like the parking assist lines which can be turned on or off and image clarity even at a considerable distance is quite good. The night vision is also very clear as a parking aid. This rearview camera system should be absolutely great and you can adjust the orientation of the picture any way you want from flipping it horizontally or vertically. The menu is quite intuitive and for adjusting the images. There is capability of adding up to three more cameras for a surround view as well as recording.I did not want to permanently mount the monitor on my dash and so I requested the suction cup mount for the windshield and that was shipped out immediately. Customer Service seems to be excellent.

This I should have purchased ages ago. Backing up to my trailer is straight forward and can be done easily without the assistance of another. Picture is clear, camera does what it’s intended to do and you can expand system with up to four cameras. Cost was moderate to match the quality of product, but when you consider the cost of other products this system hits a sweet spot between what is overpriced and what isn’t worth purchasing. It gets the job done without breaking the bank. They made it simple to get the system up and running. You can record on memory card what camera is seeing but be aware that this is not a security system, it’s meant to assist you while you’re driving. Quality of picture is great it can work well in dark conditions but realize that camera needs to be outside since the led night vision will behave poorly by reflecting off of your vehicle glass if you set it up inside your vehicle and point it outside. I found that the seven inch size monitor fits well inside my older vehicle. It doesn’t take up too much space and block my view. Quality is on par with what I was expecting only time will tell if it can go the distance. My wife is more confident backing up now that I have installed this system.

Simple to install and works perfectly with great picture quality. I needed the suction cup mount for the monitor and it was delivered in 3 days. The quality of both the product and the service are excellent.

I had a reversing camera for a while on my van but it died, so I thought I'd upgrade it. This camera from Douxury is great! I installed easily with the mounting kit to look down over the back door. I put the power cable through the door and hooked up to my existing wiring. If you do this yourself you can choose how to wire the power - I ran a cable from the cab but you could also vampire-tap a rear light or reversing light, depending on how you want it to work. The receiver is great, easy to set up and lots of features, zoom, mirror, flip etc. It will also run multiple cameras if you want to add extra in future. I haven't played with the built-in record function but also great to have. Full recommend!

A much better system than my last camera. Very clear, with a larger screen, and more options. ( and literally a quarter of the price of my last system!! ) Customer service was incredible. Prompt response and resolution to my issue. Highly recommend!!

Very simple installation. I installed it on a 2015 MCI J4505 bus that is approximately 45 feet long. Very clear signal. Highly recommend this product. I also purchased the suction cup mount that works very well.
