GREAT slides, work as advertised. Want to try their silver 16" =)
There are basically 2 kinds of project people.... those who have a lot of time, but no money and those who have no time but a lot of money to throw at a project. I am the former and had plenty of time to riddle out the installation of this product. I am not a handyman, but this is my story (insert Law and Order "da da da" here)Project: Replace original 1985 kitchen drawers slidesMy cabinet were built in place, so had some "jank" install features. i.e. drawers had the stain applied after the hardware was attached, the cabinet side rails were used to secure the cabinet mounting wood to the cabinet face-frame.I did not realize it, but I picked the hardest drawer in the kitchen to start, opening width was 7.75", narrower than the width of the drill. Project required the purchased of a right angle drill attachment from the orange big box store $19.99Wanting to ensure the best outcome of this install, the slide sets were kept together as they were packaged. Meaning the slide components were not mixed and matched during install even though they appeared to all be interchangeable.Once I figured out the first drawer with the instructions I made the block-shims to attach the drawer-slides to the drawers and a second set of block-shims to install the cabinet-slide to the cabinet. Kept the orientation of my block-shims the same for all drawers and install went smoothly.A previous reviewer of this product, mentioned that the screws were of poor quality, so I used the original 1985 screws that had attached the previous slides. The front slide screw was loosely attached first to secure the cabinet slide in place. The back "block-shim" was then added and a torpedo level with magnetic bottom was used to double check level, before drilling additional pilot holes.Tightened front cabinet screw (so you can gain access to screw holes behind the slide,) drilled pilot holes for middle and back of slide.Photograph Descriptions01 - Packaging of slides.02 - Before slide replacement.03 - Drawer with original slide removed.04 - Drawer with a light brush of brown paint.05 - Following the install directions, level was used as the straight edge.06 - Attaching the drawer slide to drawer. This first drawer I used the provided screws and it punctured through the drawer. I then began using the screws from the original slides.07 - Preparing the following drawers for touchup paint and slides.08 - Block-Shim that was used to attach drdawer slides09 - Keeping the original slide "pairing" together as shipped10 - Drilling the pilot hole for the first screw with the right angle drill attachment.11 - Hand tools were used to screw in screws.12 - Illustration of cabinet "block-shims" used to attach cabinet slide. Only the first screw is in place at this time.13 - Finished install, drawer one of six.

Great value and works well.
I purchased the 16" slides when they were $38.99 so they have gotten a bit more expensive since then. I took a gamble on them because it didn't have very many reviews but they were much cheaper than similar full extension drawer slides on Amazon.I am a novice woodworker so I installed 3 of the 6 pairs on a nightstand. The drawers moved somewhat smoothly and I didn't have any complaints about the quality of them. As I gained more experience as a woodworker, I built a second matching nightstand and used the Kreg Drawer slide Jig to install them. I was BLOWN AWAY by the difference. The reason that the first nightstand didn't move completely smoothly is because my drawer boxes were probably pretty out of square (meaning that the side pieces were probably not parallel horizontally. The Kreg jig allows you to make up for any warped/out of square pieces and the slides move incredibly smoothly on the 2nd night stand. These drawer slides are high quality. One thing that the directions don't mention and that you should definitely do when installing these is use the holes that are at the very end of the cutout tab. There are 3 on each slide. The reason you should do this is because if your drawer box is slightly too narrow, it allows the slides to flex toward the drawer box to accommodate for the drawer box being too narrow.

Good for the price point
Really 4.5 stars because expectations should be consistent with pricing. These are value slides and the slight ball bearing noise is to be expected. They are not as smooth as a high priced slide but again for the price it’s a good value set of slides. They perform as expected, hole placement is great for sturdiness although the screws are a bit soft metal. I did break two heads off while tightening. Fit and size are spot on and will use these again for the appropriate project.

No issues yet, been using for 3 months.
Super simple item. I had my husband remove out dish washer and make me a tupperware storage area. He gave me the list of items he needed and I bought them. All pieces were included when delivered and it was delivered on time. I use the drawers every day, sometimes multiple times. No issues yet!

Perfect Drawer Slide Replacements.
As long as you know what you're doing, these will work great! I replaced my broken units, and am very happy with the results. Great price for the quality.

Perfect upgrade to IKEA shame
The media could not be loaded. Its a shame the tipping debacle has ruined IKEA drawer slides. This soft-close slide set is decent quality, but not perfect. I can see how impatient people could easily damage them! If you do, just buy more, don't blame the product. This install requires precision, patience, and skill with hand tools. Hire someone to install them if needed.Mine came with grease and it was a pain! I kept touching it. Thats why some of them come without it, so you can install clean and grease afterwards. The results will be worth it! We love them.

Very loose fit
I ordered these rails for some cabinets that I was building. I said at my measurements, got everything installed properly with the proper distance between the supports for the rails. The distance between the rail supports was 1 inch less than the drawer width is, which is what it should have been. The problem is that where the inner rail fits into the outer rail, the plastic guide is too large and it does not hold the inner rail properly. This causes the rails to slide in and out very rough and sometime they separate when opening a drawer.
