Most Favorite USB Drive Yet!
I've used a lot of USB Drives since the days of 256MB drives. My last drive before this one was a PNY 4GB that had its case fall off whenever I tried to pull it out. This drive is everything and anything I hoped for a USB Drive to be.First off, it comes with an extension cord so if your USB slots are filled up then you can easily plug in the extension and plug the Corsair drive. Perfect for computers with no forward USB slots. After formatting to NTFS I have about 14.3GB of usable space. This is more than enough to haul GBs of songs, pictures, and anything else I want from computer to computer.Lastly, I thought the rubber and wide design would be a huge negative about the drive but I've found it to be quite the opposite. The rubber design means it sticks in my pocket instead of slipping out whenever I sit down - I haven't lost this USB key once yet. Second, the wide design makes it a LOT easier to pull in/out of the USB slots. Just use the extension if it can't fit. Lastly, if you are ever bored, just bounce this thing on your desk. I read about this from another reviewer and second the fact that it works as a time killer.Yes, it takes some time transferring 4GB of MP3s - with USB 2.0 it took me about 40 minutes. Sure is better than hauling an external drive with a power supply...I don't have to worry about deleting stuff to save space either - this thing is enormous. Will be buying a 32GB when I come close to using the 16GB space this has. Corsair Voyager drives have a loyal customer now.Definitely recommend this drive to everyone!

GREAT ITEM ! ! !
I believe the Corsair CMFUSB2.0-16GB 16GB Flash Voyager USB Flash Drive is a necessary item for anyone who uses a computer frequently. If you have important documents, photos, MP3s or video files you should NEVER keep them only on your hard drive. Since the eighties, it has been preached always back-up your files because hard drives crash. Viruses can still sneak in, etc. Example: I live in an apartment, and the new neighbors have had kitchen fires while I have been at work or, sound asleep. You don't have time to grab your computer and cloths when the fire alarms are going off! But you can whip this Corsair around your neck and with it, have all your important documents. For myself, besides documents, also includes several hundred dollars worth of MP3s and priceless family photos. Therefore, I keep the Corsair with me always.I had this Corsair 16GB for several weeks now and it works fine. In contrast, I also have the Seagate 6GB and it, well for lack of better descriptive words, it hangs up and does not always store my files every time. It actually lost important documents which I had to redo, costing time and money. The Seagate has moving parts, while the Corsair is a--flash drive--no moving parts. And that is the difference worth remembering. Also, and this is totally cool, when plugging in the Corsair 16GB to your WINDOWS VISTA, Vista can use it as memory! Imagine having an additional 16GB of memory for your computer. No one can run out of room for running programs any longer (even with Vista's memory hungry attitude.)

Durable, Functional USB2 flash drive.
I'd noticed (I am an on-site IT person) lots of people carrying rubberized flash drives, some of which were Corsair. Not wanting to spend immediately for a 32GB but having two worn out 8GB's, I bought these. I know why I was seeing that now...good speed, and excellent survivability. While I have been able to avoid sending them through the laundry (thankfully) I can say they do bounce when I butter-finger them out of my hands while going to attach them to a school's student laptop and survive fine. They also are more solid than the Lexar's they replaced at dealing with flaky USB ports, which our in places older ailing public-sector fleet has a handful of.Overall a very functional drive for hauling around your stuff. If you are a USB3-person.A close friend has the USB3.0 32GB version and I watched him move a DVD-R Dual Layer .iso file we were co-authoring. That was fun. I went to get a cup of coffee: somewhere in the 3-5 minute range, (8.5 GB file) and came back to ask him how long was left and he was dangling the drive on his lanyard, to hand me the file, smirking... I may look into the USB3 when I have more machines I work with that will talk to it.

I hope you don't mind a dirty, capless flash drive
This thing works pretty well. However, the rubber cover attracts a lot of dust, which is pretty much impossible to get off. Also, after you use it for a while, the cap becomes loose and falls of by itself. I was very careful with it, but I still lost it because it just fell off somewhere.Other than that, the drive is fast and reliable. It's not really portable, compared with other USB drives these days, and it's not as durable as the rubber layer might have you believe (there's no other housing under the rubber except the drive). In terms of performance, this drive is pretty good, but I would recommend another flash drive.
