I don't use them probably like most people
I have 3 of these Corsair Flash Voyager drives (16, 32, 64 gb). I don't use them probably like most people. I put stuff on there I want to keep and they go in a box until I get ready to update them. I did have the small one while 4 years in college and it worked great. A couple of times I forgot about the small cap but luckily it was still there (who wants a rubber cap?) I never had a problem and feel like these are very sturdy and they hold anything I threw at them and never lost data. I have plugged these into my smart tv and played mp4 files. Just make sure you get the size you can afford. I also use Windows 7 platform so if you use Apple products I'm not sure how that differs. I usually buy one a year to put everything on just for a backup to a backup to a backup just in case.

Feels well built.
Good and solid construction. Decent benchmarks and probably could do better in a better system than mine. Very happy with it.

Very speedy drive
Once upon a time when USB flash drives were new to the market, I had a 1GB (or 512MB, can't remember) Corsair Flash Voyager, and I was not unimpressed with what it could do. In These days flash drives are like 3.5" floppies were 15 years ago. Also like floppies, most inexpensive USB drives have been great on reads, but slow as daylight on writes. This is not one of those drives. Copying a large file (a 1.5gb .WMV movie) over USB 3.0 (from a 1TB Samsung 850 Evo) saw sustained transfer speeds between 59MB/s and 61MB/s. Copying the same movie back to the SSD saw speeds between 89MB/s and 91MB/s. Even small transfers (a folder of images ranging from 300KB to 800KB), which is where USB drives usually suffer badly, completed at a very respectable 11MB/s. My first Corsair Voyager lasted about 8 years until I connected it to a wrongly wired USB port, and until that time, despite heavy usage, I never lost a file, so I have great expectations for this drive. The one downside I can find with this drive, and it is a small one, and it may be my computer, is that it takes several seconds to be recognized. While not a downside worth docking a star for, the original Corsair Voyagers shipped with a utility which could create a password protected encrypted partition, but these days there are several drives, including some made by Corsair, with hardware level encryption. Of course as soon as it was delivered the price dropped by $1, but isn't that always the way?

Hands down, my favorite flash drive.
I use this flash drive every day, sometimes transferring 5-10 GB at a time. it seems to work flawlessly. I also appreciate the feel of its somewhat larger rubber case. For me, it's less likely to misplace it like I do with other, much smaller drives.

Corsair is great
Been using this brand for 5 years now. Prices have come down while capacity improves. Never had a problem with reliability. 64 GIG is a good size for storing files and or transferring between computers. I believe you can get up to 256 GIG, bit I didn't need such a large capacity and they got a bit pricey at that lever. An external SSD would be a better use for backups.

Very fast transfer but doesn't always connect
This is an excellent usb stick and with its great capacity and 3.0 transfer speed you might think there would be nothing unsatisfactory. But unfortunately, there is. Often, it only connects as though it were plugged into a usb 2.0 port when in fact you have it in a 3.0 port. As a result you might spend a lot of time waiting for transfers that should be faster but are slowed by the fact that the transfer is occurring at 2.0 rather than 3.0 speed. For those of you unacquainted with the difference, 3.0 has a transfer speed of 10x faster than 2.0. When I'm constantly transferring files greater than 3gb in size this can be very irritating and time consuming. But most of the time it does connect as 3.0 and nothing goes wrong. This is a great product for the price and the rubber grip exterior is great.
