Great Quality sturdy wood desk with perfect design
The package was really heavy (170 lbs) when it arrived. The wood is really solid and sturdy and really great quality. You do need at least 2 people to assemble this but it took us about 2 hours (going slow and carefully). The instructions are very clear if you go through them carefully. I have nothing bad to say about this desk. Exceeded all expectations. Great L-shaped orientation with massive mounting space in the middle. The keyboard holder is huge and slides out beautifully. Ergonomically, I am very satisfed as well. There is no drawer on the left side even though there is a space along with a door cabinet. Lots of space on this desk to store whatever you need. Leg room underneath is plenty for someone like me with long legs. The only negative I would add is that there are no holes in the back of the middle mount to route the wires/cables on monitors etc. Not a big deal because you still have plenty of room but this feature would have been killer. Overall, 5 stars from me still.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a sturdy well ...
I've had this desk just over 2 years now. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a sturdy well manufactured desk.Assembly is easy enough but I don't recommend trying to do it alone. It is HEAVY!! The primary surface pieces are manufactured wood with a laminate top. You can put it together with just a screwdriver but I'd recommend a drill. Even a Dremel would be better than a plain screwdriver. Not long after getting it I had to move and here's where the true measure of a product comes into play. Disassembly was just as easy and the reassembly was a piece of cake and the desk is still a beast! I've had a couple other desks that have just turned to crap if they've had to be disassembled and reassembled.Likes:STURDYEasy assembly (parts were all marked)Riser section holds my 32" TV/computer monitor easilyThe keyboard shelf does not have to be added to increase stability.Same goes for the door to the cabinet.Dislikes (it took a combination of all of these for me to drop it down a star)The cabinet on the left - you can't flip it around to the right. That's my biggest pet peeve about the whole desk.I store my tower in the cabinet so I left the door off for improved air flow. However I'm probably going to move the tower to the top as I'm having an issue with some cords reaching. If I do I'll just have a big cabinet with little to no use for it. There are no shelves inside. It wouldn't be difficult to add a few extra holes in the side upright boards, some shelf pegs, and a couple extra boards. This would allow for some customization. The shelf space above this cabinet is an odd size. It's 4 3/4". I suppose it's a good spot to store a ream of paper for a printer. But nothing else I really keep around my desk fits this spot. None of my CD cases will fit standing up.This also holds true for the riser platform in the center. Nice and deep with 3 sections but only 4 1/3". The cabinet cubby has an open back but the riser has a cardboard back. There are no holes in it so If you put something down there that needs to run a cord, you're going to have to cut your own holes. If you look at the photo, you'll see the center support. This is a 90 degree V support with the corner coming in towards you. This leaves an empty "pocket" behind. Okay if you've got things you can tuck back there. Prior to the move I had an electrical outlet close enough that I could hide my power strip and a good deal of cords. But after the move it's a waste of space. If you have animals or small nosy kids I'd recommend figuring out a way to block that section off further. If I still had cats I know this is where they'd hide to avoid baths! The only thing wrong with the desk at the time I originally got it was that I was shorted 4 screws that assist in holding the 3 top pieces in place. Using what I had the desk works just fine and is solid. You can put a lot of weight on top and not have to worry about those support brackets giving way.The only thing wrong with the desk now is that the laminate strip along the front center board has come off. Some Gorilla glue and a good clamp will fix that right up. Neither of the other strips are having an issue. There is also a ring spot in a place where someone had set a sweaty drink for a while. This is not a manufacturing issue other than the material used is more porous than I expected for a laminate. As I purchased the grey & charcoal colored desk it's not a noticeable flaw unless I'm looking at an angle.Anyway, for the price and solid construction I'd totally purchase another of these desks.

Not bad
So yesterday I completed building this desk. Like mentioned you really need two people to put it together.Overall its a really good looking desk once its complete. But my issue with it is that I don't think it would ever survive being moved. So lets say I move in the next year and have to take it apart, some of the support pieces are pretty flimsy and I know some screws would fall out, possibly leaving me a broken or falling apart desk.So if youre looking for a really big desk that will be staying in one place for a long long time, this is good for you. But otherwise I would spend that 400$ on something else.

Excellent Desk!
I just purchased this desk a few weeks ago, and I love it. While it is very heavy and assembly intensive, (it took my brother and I about 2 hours to put it together), it is definitely worth it. It looks professional and it is nice and sturdy which I like as I place a lot of weight on my desks. Not all of the boards had stickers with the part number on them, these boards had the number stamped onto the thin, unfinished, edges. I think that might be some of the trouble other people had with assembly. Hope that helps. The only thing I found disappointing was are there are no holes for computer cords in the little cubbies. I have multiple computers/keyboards on top of the desk and the cables have to run off the edge of the desk. It is minor and easily fixable though. Also, the cupboard with the door to the side could really use a shelf, but that is also minor.

Nice but could be better attention to detail
Screws in kick plate below door not long enough. Out side edge of desk top not finished. Nice looking desk overall but mediocre finish.
