Can I create a contour cut line with Adobe illustrator?

Not that I have found, but you can load .ai files directly into the PT Create software that comes with it and then add your cut lines. There is a paywall on many features though.

Hello, yes and no. We don't offer clear chipped continuous material for use on this printer when using the die-cutting feature. You can however run pre-diecut clear stock through the machine but it will not cut out the label. You have to use a label that has been pre-diecut to your shape. Thank you, Primera

The printer doesn’t work. Keep getting cutter stall. Customer service is terrible. No answers the phone. The cheapest you’ll get for print and cut but you get what you pay for.

Never Worked Faulty | Purchased directly for Primera.

I've purchase this item directly for Primera. The first one received stalled right out of the box never had a chance to test it or have it working. 2nd replacement unit I received was also broken and stalling right out of the box. never had a chance to test. Fail, Fail and FAIL.
