This is not a bad size food mat for dogs. When I got it, I realized that I needed a bigger size due to my dog food dispenser being large. The size of this one is about the same of a placemat. It still works just fine. It keeps all the dog food pieces in place instead of all over the floor. It is very easy to clean. Just water and soap and towel to dry. So far I am happy with it. Hopefully we can get a bigger sizes in the future. Good product and I recommend it.*i bought this at a discounted price for testing and giving an honest and unbiased feedback.

The food mat is about 11.5 inches by 18. 5 inches and has a very small lip on the edge the whole way around. I wish the lip was just a tad higher, but it works well enough. I like that it's silicone and easy to care for; it's easy to wipe up any spills on the mat and keeps my floors much cleaner than the old plastic placement I had been using for a mat. It stays put on the floor and doesn't slide around at all.I bought this at a discount and have reviewed it honestly and without bias.

I love my little fur baby. My little fur baby loves to make messes when he eats and drinks. When his waterbowl gets too low for his liking he'll slap it around until he gets more. When one piece of food falls between his bowl and it's frame...slap. He will knock over the entire bowl set to get to that one piece. He's an elderly boy, almost 15, and we find it easier for him to eat when his bowl is elevated rather than flat. So, there's a mess. This thing is a gem! It has an lipped edge so water spills won't just roll off onto the floor. It's spacious enough that if he slaps a bowl and something falls out it'll land on the mat and not all over the floor. It's silicone so it's very easily cleaned. That's a HUGE plus for us because we're avid campers and need something safe and easy to clean. It's very flexible, not stiff at all. I purchased this for a discount for an honest review. I may end up getting another so we can keep one at home and one in the motor home.

I like the simple design of this dog food mat. Its easy to clean up any messes that my dog makes...and that's a lot of messes. She tends to drool a lot so the mat kind of catches some of that drool. This is a great sized mat for my dog which is 65 pounds so I would guess that if you had a smaller dog you could fit your food and water bowl both on the mat. I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest discount.

This mat is working really well! I received it for reviewing purposes and it has been very effective so far. It's silicone and has a raised edge that borders the entire mat to help catch water or food that spills out of the dish. It's also large enough to fit both the water and food dish. It is so easy to clean up after my dog with this mat-yay! My dog's eating area is a lot less messy now.
