Are these boots waterproof?

No! They are lightweight Desert hiking boots!

I personally believe they are ok for warm weather. I have a pair myself and I have used them year round. Very confortable and fit amazing. Thinking on buying another pair again sometime. Highly recommend

has anyone actually used these for hiking? like thru hiking or backpacking.

very, very, comfortable for days of hiking on hiking trails. With a full load out and over loose rocks, and shale, cinch down laces tight to give more ankle support. I will by them again if they ever wear out.

Do these boots, size wise, tend to run wider or more narrow?

My feet are somewhat wide, and these boots fit perfect. I have had many boots over the years, and I will never own a different brand. They hold up amazing too
