Bobbi Brown Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm SPF25 - Light Tint 30ml/1oz

I have never written a negative review on any product I have ordered from Amazon but this product is so bad I had to warn others who might waste their money. I read all the negative comments before I purchased but figured it was not applied correctly. I also watched a start to finish video on proper application. I am 62 with good skin and minimal lines for my age. The product has a very unpleasant odor that lingers. Product was applied sparingly with a brush and upon completion, my skin was shimmery and oily looking. It was tacky to touch and after waiting 30 minutes there was no change. Coverage was minimal but that is what I expected with a tinted moisturizer. Do not use anywhere around your eyes. It will take at least 30 minutes to stop tearing. When I lightly used my finger to apply cream blush and a little concealer on a dark spot it caused pilling. I could only assume any contact with another product was the culprit since it did not happen on the rest of my face and it was not unexfoliated or dry skin related. Upon completion of makeup application (mascara, lipstick and blush) I decided to leave it be and get on with my day. Within 2 hours all evidence of tint, concealer and blush was gone but tackiness remained. My eyes teared and burned if I inadvertently touched my face then eyes. I finally had to wash it off. I do not have sensitive skin, no allergies and experienced with application. To be fair, I tried again with a few suggested changes from an aesthetician to no avail. Same results. For $80.00 I expected a much better product. Very disappointed.

Excellent product. Hard to find in retail stores. With 25 SPF offers good protection while serving as an excellent make-up base.
