Nice ladder but watch your fingers.

The material or the way in which this product was constructed contributes to the ladder not being sturdy, as it is a bit flimsy. The mechanisms that are supposed to lock in place can be troublesome and altogether ineffective rendering the ladder unsafe and extremely dangerous. For the price, I expected a little better.

I have owned many telescoping ladders, This is very easy to set up and to collapse. The wide base gives me a little extra confidence. The rubber feet are kind of temperature sensitive, so be sure to use on a slip resistant surface, or put it on an anti-fatigue type of mat when on slippery surfaces. Also, remember to tie your ladder off, use proper angle, and practice safety with each use. Read The Manual!

Works like it should, yet, it's not as sturdy as I'd like, could be that I've only used fixed ladders in the past, but, i need some "Getting used to" there seems to be a lot of play in the stiffness that doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Had a regular ladder but need a taller one to get roof access. Did some research and decided on this one. This ladder is stable and heavy (I am 200 lb). Instruction is detail and make sure you follow the instruction to open and close the ladder. When it is closing, it has kind of like an air bump that slows down so it does not pop your fingers. Easy to use and small to store (1/2 of the height of my 8 ft ladder) and it could stand by itself. In the second day of using it, not a single problem yet, will follow up if anything occurs. I would recommend a buy on this one.

This was my first telescoping ladder I purchased for an emergency escape ladder for my home. This thing flexes to the point I don’t feel safe standing on it and I’m not crazy how it deploys from the bottom rung up. I’ll stick with the step and extension ladders for chores while this thing resides in my closet to use if needed for an emergency.

I would highly recommend this ladder. Great price. The ladder is much better than we expected. We are able to make it any length we need. It goes down easily. It's easy to store. It's very heavy so my boyfriend moves it where its needed. We were missing one screw to put the bar across the bottom.

I highly recommend that you use a rubber backed floor mat to keep the feet from sliding on tile or wood floors. Don’t rely on just the rubber feet to keep the feet from sliding.

Although I liked the features of the product, it arrived damaged within the original packaging without any visible signs of damage to the cardboard box and was therefore returned for full refund. Due to the damage found within the original packaging I was reluctant to reorder the same unit.
