This is simply a MUST READ for anyone working with computer

Apparently the exercises in this book is different from the US version (according to the author himself) so if you are looking to work on the problems included perhaps you'll want to get the US version.

The content is different from the original edition: 1. the excercises are different 2. the solutions contain errors 3. there are two Malaysian contributors not listed on the cover, so spamming

Excellent summary of everything you need to know on program execution at low level. Contains abundance of exercises to get practical insight on each topic. I would recommend it to anyone who is into programming of any kind.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who studies computer science, without doubt. However I have read previously that others said the international edition has lower quality, so I had intended to purchase the North American edition, but it wasn't available, and I couldn't wait any longer, so I had to re-order and buy this one instead. Like others said: - the book has several loose pages that fall out easily, you have to carefully glue it back, but it's extremely hard to do a nice job on your own - the printing quality is a bit poor, not very sharp, as font is small, it can be difficult to read - sometimes you can easily see the pink shade leaks out of the blue shade due to the printing setting - paper quality is a bit too thin, but this is not a big deal over all... - some exercises have WRONG answers. This is very annoying and intolerable. Why would you provide a poorer quality for students outside of USA? FINAL VERDICT: if you have a way to buy the North American Edition, DO NOT buy this one.
