The Vapor Zone Solid is a stronger version of the Vintage Vapor Zone with a similar shape. This one is much better on fresher lane conditions. It handles oil well while giving you that sharper shape you saw out of the other Vapor Zone. I like this one for opening my angles from inside on slicker house shots. It also works well on Heavier oil volumes when my Kingpin Rule is too much. In short, if you enjoyed the shape of the Vapor Zone and want a stronger compliment this is your ball.

The Vapor Zone Solid is an outstanding, aggressive complement to the Vintage Vapor Zone pearl. This ball really picks up and turns the corner hard on medium to heavy oil patterns. If you have any concerns on high volume patterns of throwing the ball through the breakpoint, or for any speed-dominant player, this ball is a strong choice to consider.I have mine drilled pin over ring finger and as a slow to medium speed player I have no issues getting the ball down lane and then watching it "bite" at just the right time to turn the corner. I will say this in all honesty, at the out of box finish this ball needs head oil, definitely not a good choice for later in the session when transition has caused the heads to burn a bit. The Vapor Zone Solid is a great compliment to the pearl but it’s quite a bit stronger than I originally anticipated. It still clears the fronts rather well but once it reaches the mids, it starts to rev up and go. It’s not overly snappy but does offer a strong arc down lane. Mine loves oil especially in the heads. With the new weight hole restrictions on the horizon this Assymetrical monster is a great ball to have in the bag. The Vapor Zone Sold also comes with the special blue stuff (Dynamicore) to help with those off hit strikes. The Brunswick brands continue to revolutionize the sport and this is just another addition to a long line of great pieces.
