Most of the charcoal was in tiny bits like it's all been crushed. There was hardly any lumps of charcoal in the bag so the tiny bits of charcoal wouldn't burn for long. I wouldn't recommend this charcoal.

Some of the review were bad but I think it depends on the batch. I received decent bag and I had really big pieces. Yes there are few crushed ones but u will get them due to transportation etc.It does the job well and very fast to set up. It took me 10 mins to set up bbq with chimney starter

I bought the large size thinking it was better value. I use it in a BBQ hut. If you use 1/2 a bag, seal it & use again later, I think it gets damp. This results in a more Smokey atmosphere & sometimes sparks more when in the chimney column for lighting up. I think it’s better to buy a smaller bag, open it & use it all. That’s what I’ll do from now on!

Makes for a great bbq, burns well, great taste. I have repurchased several times now

Pretty poor effort by Weber

A bit disappointing, the bulk of the bag contained very tiny pieces resulting in a very short burn time. I only just managed to finish a stir fry before the heat died right down. Not good enough. I thought going for the Weber brand would mean quality but maybe I was just unlucky, however there are far worse brands out there so don't be tempted by cheap garage charcoal. It's not worth it, but I shall look for much better quality in future.
