Jack Pyke Sporting Shoulder Bag

I bought this bag because I was fed up hauling a rucksack around, and needed something a little more focus built.I can squeeze in 150 carts, hand towel, hat, gloves, and my Howard Leight earphones. The side pockets come in handy for my score cards, spare ear protection, glasses, cloths, certificate etc.I might be able to squeeze 200 carts in, if I left the Howard Leight headphones in the care (I use Vario custom molded ear plugs anyway)Anyway, for the money, its a great bag, and does the same job that bags 4-6times the cost do.

I generally like this bag. I bought it to replace the massive bag I used to take and leave in the car. I can get 5 boxes of cartridges, my shooting vest, cap and Peltor ear defenders in the main compartment. In the side pockets I put my phone, glasses case, wallet, box of chokes and oily rag for rainy days.As I'm wearing most of this stuff the bag isn't too heavy and obviously gets lighter as I get through the cartridges.The only thing I'd like to see is the fitting of a firm base and maybe some stiffening panels in the sides so it keep its shape a bit more. I have fitted an oblong piece of hardboard into the base of mine to give the cartridge boxes some support.

It’s a good spacious bag but not too big. Perfect for between a small backpack and a cartridge bag.Stats:- fits 200 shells in their box if you have nothing else in large compartment. Don’t think this is wise though as it looks like the handle might break from weight- Loose, I think a good few hundred- the side pockets can easily take wallet, glasses, rags and other small accessories on its ownOverall, happy with it. Easy to carry and compact despite how much space you get. Would have been better with a solid base but will do as is.

Really great bag. It has two useful side pockets which will fit wallets, shotgun certificates, glasses etc etc. The bag would easily fit 150 cartridges (in their boxes) as well as leaving room for ear defenders, glasses and hats etc. Also seems waterproof / rain proof - took it out in very heavy rain and cartridges inside the bag stayed dry.

Great little bag. Strong and robust. Easily holds 250 cartridges with plenty of space left over.2 side pockets great for all those little extras.
