The Great Divorce Study Guide is well written and reader friendly. The free resources and weekly updates are an added bonus that we have very much appreciated. I highly recommend this study guide.

Lots of information about running a group. Sets out a template to guide week by week readings and study questions. Written in an easily understandable format of a not so easy subject. Following the format should provide satisfactory results.

I love C.S.Lewis. This study guide was a great help for grasping the depth and richness of Lewis' story.

The Great Divorce is a book that asks if a person was given the choice of remaining in hell or of entering heaven, why would that person continue to remain in hell. The book (or play) lends itself to study and discussion. The Great Divorce Study Guide is meant to aid in that discussion. I think that this study guide will be more useful to a small group than to individual study. The study questions proposed throughout the book are ideal for discussion, to hear other answers beside ones own. The character summaries are helpful in getting a clearer picture of an individual or group. The early discussion questions come across as questions meant for the classroom than a small group. Continuing on however the questions become ones that a "ordinary" person could ponder and discuss. Overall, I recommend the Great Divorce Study Guide to anyone or any group wishing to delve more deeply into the question, why would anyone choose hell over heaven.

Not sure I am keen on it as a bible study although my group is enjoying our conversations. But it is an interesting book and take on life after death regardless of where you end up. It really gives you food for thought. Enjoy!

This has been an interesting, challenging, deep study. I love it. It has made me really dig into the story to understand the characters. The Bible verses to reference and the questions are so helpful. I share my reading of the book and study guide whenever I find someone who will listen. The study guide is an excellent tool to dive into C.S. Lewis’ message and makes one really think about our actions. It’s one of the best study guides I have ever used.

It was helpful to have the character summaries, etc as one looked at the book beyond the superficial.Lewis has so many layers of depth in his writing, it is helpful to have assistance to uncover it. It asked some good questions to think about. The one thing I was not happy with was related to the additional biblical links. I felt 'pushed' to see this is what it meant, rather than offering an option of deeper meaning for me to decide if I agreed.
