I like this DVD WWE PPV set great matches with John Cena vs JBL, the main event with triple H vs Egde

I was at this PPV since I'm from Long Island. It was a really good show. Since I never have been to a PPV until now, it was a lot of fun.Dark Match: Umaga vs Kennedy: Since Umaga already beat Kennedy on Smackdown, Kennedy should have won this one. Instead though he game plan was bad once again. He kept trying to slam Umaga and Umaga would just fall on top of him. He also fought out of the Mic Check. Then Kennedy just ran into the Samoan Spike and Umaga got the 1-2-3. Here I thought they were setting us up for a better feud with Kennedy vs MVP and they won't even let Kennedy beat Umaga.4 Corner tag match (Tag Team Titles): This match has Hornswoggle and Finley vs Ryder and Hawkens vs Jesse and Festos vs Miz and Mrrison. I expected Miz and Morrisons reighn to go on longer but the less over and talented heels Hawkens and Ryder won this one to be the new champs. One of them pinned Jesse after he was knocked off the top ropes.Shelton Benjaman vs Matt Hardy (U.S title: In a back and forth match, Benjaman won after hitting Matt with his finisher to be the new U.S ChampTommy Dreamer vs Mark Henry (ECW title): In the most predictable match of the night Mark Henry beat Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer did almost win though but Colin Delaney turnt on him but who really cares about that. I think Dreamer was only given the match due to being from NY. Even us New Yorkers knew he had no chance though lol.Jericho vs HBK: The 2 have had better matches but this one was still one of the better matches of the night. It had some good wrestling in the beginning. Then it turned into a brawl with Jericho just punching a bloody Shawn in the face until the match was stopped. Jericho won like I hoped he would but it sucks that he only won due to the match being stopped.Michelle Mcool vs Anvil Nighthart's daughter(Smackdown Woman title): Michelle is hot but this one was still a pee break match for me lol. I did hear her music playing after the match though so guess she won lol.Batista vs C.M Punk: People were chanting Punk sucks eventhough he's a lot more talented with a lot more moves than Batista who's more of a body builder than a wrestler lol. It still wasn't a bad match and Punk did do good against Batista. Batista did hit some power moves and surprisingly I don't remember him doing the spinebuster. Funny, I thought that was his only other move lol. End comes when Kane shows up just like you knew he would. So he causes a DQ. After the match Punk raises the title in Batista's face and Batista gives him his finisher like the poor sport/cry baby that he is. I sure hope that the belt isn't just on reserve for John Cena though "Pukes".JBL vs Cena in a Parking Lot Brawl: This one was just on the Titan Tron through most of the match. It was a decent brawl with them trying to take each other out. JBL even set a car on fire with Cena in it. They then battle out to the ramp way. Cena goes to FU JBL on to his car off the ramp and JBL reverses it and throws Cena into the windshield hard to pick up the win :).Edge vs HHH: I actually think their World title match with both of them as heels like 3 years back on Raw in Japan was a better match. This one isn't bad but it gets ruined by Vickey's wedding planner and a run in by Vicky. Edge does at least spear Vicky on accident though lol. He's in shock and turns around to meet the Pedigree with HHH getting the 1-2-3. Nothing shocking there, so it wasn't really a special mainevent but not really a bad one either. I have seen better mainevents at the Great American Bash through the years though.

WWETHE GREAT AMERICAN BASH 2007I was wanting to go back a little bit and watch an older event so I just random and came across this one. I had forgot about this one so it was perfect.spoilers1.[US TITLE]MVP VS MATT HARDY-this was a great opening match. Both guys work very well together and it showed here. This was a great back and forth affair with many near falls. The action goes from the ground to the air and back and forth with some big top rope moves. In the end MVP retains finishing off Hardy for the 1,2,3.2.[CRUSIERWEIGHT TITLE]CHAVO GUERRERO VS SHANNON MOORE VS JAMIE NOBLE VS FUNAKI VS JIMMY WANG YANG VS HORNSWOGGLE-this was a great match and maybe my favorite of the night. A match full of guys who are all underrated. This match is non stop with many near falls and saves. Everybody has moments but it was the ending that was great. Hornswoggle snuck into the match and after a mini frog splash he won the title.3.[SINGAPORE CANE MATCH]THE SANDMAN VS CARLITO-in this match the first person to climb up and grab a cane could use it. This was your basic match that could have been on RAW. I w like both of these guys so it was cool to go back and watch this. Most people hate on the ending here but I thought it was good. Sandman gets the cane and then gets finished by Carltio, I thought it was funny because the fans wanted that cane used so bad.4.[WOMEN'S TITLE]MELINA VS CANDICE MICHELLE-back when they were Women and not Divas. I miss both of these ladies and this was a pretty good match. Both do well and work together nicely. Candice keeps the title here and then cools off backstage in front of the Hardys and Ron Simmons. It was wonderful.5.[I-C TITLE]UMAGA VS JEFF HARDY-this match was better than most people give it credit for. Of course most people were for Jeff but since I was never a fan of him I was all about Umaga here. Umaga controls most of the match beating Hardy down except when Jeff makes his comeback. Still it was not to be as Umaga kept the belt.6.[ECW TITLE]JOHN MORRISON VS CM PUNK-good match between two really good guys. Good back and forth action with each man nearly finishing the other with great pin attempts. In the end Morrison kept the strap.7.[TEXAS BULL ROPE MATCH]RANDY ORTON VS DUSTY RHODES-the American Dream was back at the Bash in a match he knows all about. This was the match I was most looking forward to and I wasn't disappointed. I knew Orton was going to win but I was glad Dusty looked good here. He dominates Randy for most of this short match which was great. Still Randy gets the win over another legend.8.[WORLD TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH]GREAT KHALI VS KANE VS BATISTA-this match was better than I remembered and better than others say. It was three powerhouses and they used all that muscle against one another. The best moments came when Batista and Kane teamed to take Khali out. The Great Khali retains the title here in a better match than expected.9.[WWE TITLE]JOHN CENA VS BOBBY LASHLEY-after re-watching this I think this might be the best match of the night. It felt like an old school match and was actually dramatic. The crowd was into this one which made it even better. It was full of near falls and finishes with the ending being really good. Cena keeps the belt in one of the best matches of the night.This event over all was a good one as I enjoyed it more than I remembered. There were some matches here so I would recommend it to all wrestling fans.
