Fiio E12 DIY Headphone Amplifier [Gold Limited Edition] w/ 7 High Fidelity, Ultra-Low Distortion OP-Amps and Buffers

This is an excellent amplifier. I have been using it for a little more than a month and it is now my favorite amplifier, because of its sound and portability. I also have a Headroom Portable Desktop Amp (PDA) and a Fostex HP-P1. I couple the PDA with an Onkyo ND-S1 to bypass my iPods DACs and the Fostex bypasses the iPods DACS. My headphones are Denon AH-D5000s. The listening experience of the FiiO E12-DIY coupled with my Fiio X3 is great, and I prefer it to that from my other amps. The sound quality is very good and the battery on this amplifier lasts a long time before it needs to be charged (approximately 10 hours). Recharging takes some time (approximately 4 hours) but can be shortened slightly, if one uses a USB charger such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJ79UK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have not used the FiiO E12 Mont Blanc, so I cannot compare it with the FiiO E12-DIY. Although I purchased an extended warranty with the amplifier because I want to be able to utilize the DIY features without worry, I haven't yet changed the amp or buffer, because it sounds so great in its stock configuration. This is an excellent amplifier, and I highly recommend it.
