HTT-242W, M2 HSS, 5/8" Bowl Gouge with Side Grind (1/2" Flute) for Woodturning

Great gouge. Use mainly for “roughing” out the bowl exterior and interior. Sharpens easily and stays sharp for a good amount of time. I have a couple hurricane tools and they have worked well for me. For the money, I couple recommend these tools enough.

I don't think you can guy a better tool for the money

For the cost this item it is just as good and well made as other brands that would require a higher price tag. I am very happy with this purchase.

Keeps a good edge when sharpen on a 40/40 grind and does better than expected verses one of my more expensive bowl gouges. I might just make this my go to gouge in the future

this is a replacement for a worn down tool, looking forward to using it for a s long.

This gouge arrive quickly and is a great tool for hollowing out deep, narrow bowls, as the swept back design and high bevel angle make it relatively easy to reach deep smoothly. I love this tool.

Getting a hold of this after using "beginner" gouges, was like going from coach to first class.So much better!
