If you're looking for a battery replacement for the M-Audio Microtrack 24/96, this is it!
I had an old M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 (model AU02-079X1) with a battery that would only stay charged about 30 seconds. I dug through hundreds of Amazon listings for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and found this one. It fits perfectly! All you have to do to replace the battery is crack open the recorder, pry the old battery from the board, snip the battery lines, solder in and heat shrink wrap the new lines, glue the new battery to the board, and put everything back together. It takes a charge and stays on a long time. Time will tell about the battery's longevity, which is the only reason I can't give it a five star review.
