Design makes it hard to ship in one piece
The way the ornament is designed, it is (apparently) impossible to ship without it breaking in four pieces. First time it came it was in a box as part of a larger order. The replacement was shipped in a padded envelope. I suspect that the ornament wouldn't stand up to being packed up every year with the xmas decorations.
