I installed the first carburetor and had to adjust the governor to get it to work right. The next morning I opened up my garage and a very strong older of gas was present. I saw that the floor was wet with gas and oil. The float needle didn’t seat in the carburetor and had filled up the engine block and came out through the breather. I had to drain the oil that I had just did from the day before. I had another carburetor that the seller had sent me for the replacement witch came very fast I will say that much fir the seller. They ship very fast. I opened up the replacement carburetor and the float bow wasn’t even seated. It was just setting lose inside the bow. Also the choke butterfly was installed upside down and the return spring wasn’t set right on the shaft. After fixing the carburetor and I installed it. I got the engine running again after adjusting the governor again. Guess what. It too wouldn’t shut off the gas supply. They same problem as the first one. The carburetor comes with a petcock and hose clamps. Now I know why the send them with the carburetors for. So save yourself some time and for $32.65 get one from steins supply and be done with it.

Carburetor was easy to install only took 10 minutes excellent item will purchase again if needed.

Fit like new with no leaks and work as good as the original.

I have an old tecumseh lawn tractor OHV130. I removed the old one, and put this gem on. The price is great, especially when the old carb would need more help in cleaning then its worth. I installed it, started right up, and ran like a champ. Very happy did not need to adjust anything. 5 star all the way.

Yardman MTD Rider Mower wouldn't run very well even after I cleaned out the carb internals. Purchased a new carb from another amazon seller. Then the rider wouldn't start with out starting fluid & ran even worse than before!! Purchased this Hilom carb- it arrived a day earlier than expected- installed it & the rider now runs great! I say buy it!

I put this on a cheap craigslist mower. It works well. It stopped my mower from leaking gas all over the garage. Win.
