Sometimes you just KNOW what you want. After looking for over a year, I saw this demoed at one of the shows (via youtube). I was using a M Audio Xponent at the time and the one thing I loved about it was all the buttons and how well it lit up and displayed volume, song length remaining and things like that. The Jogvision seemed to be similar but in a better size and had a mic input as well. It does light up pretty well and has some nice LED indicators for various things.I've been using the Jogvision since October now and I'm VERY happy with it. If I had just one suggest to give Hercules, it would be this. The mic has a button you can hit to turn it on. WHY on earth would you make the line in a software only feature that you have to dig into the driver to activate? That was highly disappointing. On the bright side, I've been using that feature less and less, but I still think it was a mistake to not have easy access to your line in. XLR outputs would also be a plus, but there is plenty of clean volume from this unit and it's very responsive.I am NOT using Serato with the Jogvision. I realize most people with use what they're give, but for those using Virtual DJ, rest assured, it works flawlessly with VDJ 8. I'm not a scratcher (yet) but I've been playing around and trying to learn a bit. By trade I do weddings and haven't had any requests for scratching, though I have used the Air FX quite a bit.If I had to rate this unit on a scale 1-10, I'd give it a 9. It's a great unit, but could use a few tweaks. Maybe version two?

Great basic dj controller with lots of functionality for the price.
You pretty much got to buy a Serato license if you want to use this properly. It's easy to use and after a year of using it on my weekly radio show, it's still going. There's a few things I wish it did, but it has the basics covered. I really like the sample pads, the looping functions and the wheel sensitivity. Look up The Land of Make Believe with Old Man Ratchet on YouTube to see it in use.

JOF WHEELS!!
This controller is on point. The fact that is serato ready and works flawless with it. I'm so glad I bought this. And thank God I don't have to use virtual DJ with it.

Okay
Was okay for the first few months until the tempo faders started not working. Build quality, not so good. Pads were responsive and really nice. The jog wheels feel really nice.

Not reccomendded for performence or big partys
This looks great and could be using for practice or teaching at home or studio because some times stops a lot and stop working whitout a reason. 3 times stops at middle of my performance and that was emmbarassing. I really recomend Pioneer RR its almost the same price but works better even the Ddj SB2. But like i said for a house partties should be good.

awesome controller !
An awesome controller ! If you are a Pioneer user its gonna take a little more time to get used to it but once you do its an amazing experience. Very good. I'd advise it to anyone, pro and beginners alike.
