Nice slicer, adjustable for thickness, roller works well

It looks nice and it's sturdy
It looks nice and it's sturdy. The problem is the coating on the roller started coming off pretty soon. The coating comes off in a dust or powder looking format and gets stuck on your food, like cheese for example. It's gross. I thought I could clean off the roller to get rid of the coating stuff, but it just keeps coming off forever. Maybe it's the roller material itself degrading.
