PThink makes some really amazing tempered screen protectors. This is the third one I've purchased (picked up one for a Z1 compact and Blackberry Q10 in the past) and the kit comes with everything you need. I cannot stress how much you need to find a brightly lit desk or workspace, with zero clutter, away from drafts and to wash your hands rigorously before beginning. Yes, it's like getting ready for surgery. The kit comes with a "dust removal sticker" that's basically a sticker for catching whatever dust particles you might see, as well as a lint-free cloth square and alcohol prep pad. The surface that sticks to the screen is covered with a film that's easy to remove. Take your time when you do this and breath away from your work surface. With a bit of luck and patience, you'll end up with a super-hard screen protector that's completely seamless and looks great. If you do notice particles under the protector after it's been applied, unless it's big enough to actually warp the surface creating an air pocket, leave it be. But if you're really OCD like me and will go nuts about these things, you can still remove the protector with something like an exacto-knife and gently pry at the corner and lift the cover completely. Don't try to be clever by squeezing the dust removal sticker in between the gap to try to catch whatever it is that's there. once the protector is off, look at both surfaces and dab at any dust particles with the sticker and re-apply. As screen protectors go I have used many styles in many years and glass has the best feel of them all. I have yet to break one but I have also yet to break a screen when I had a glass protector on it. I can confirm a few things that may be of concern regarding glass screen protectors.-This screen protector does not block any ports or sensors or cause any problems. No issues with audio input or output.-This screen protector does not come up on the edges routinely-This screen protector does cover the whole screen without going too far and getting in the way of the edge.That being said, why not 5 stars? First, it does come up on the edge when I have a bulky case on my Z5 Compact that then pulls at one edge a little. Its about a quarter of an inch and it comes and goes. Also, it looks like there are tiny scratches on the screen like someone rubbed a wire brush all over it. I can't confirm it came this way. I do know that tempered glass will scratch but not shatter (as easily). Your gorilla glass will not scratch but shatter waaaaay too easily. I think this is a good compromise.

I've used a lot of screen protectors on a lot of different phones and this one is by far the one I've been the most impressed with. You get a ton of tools (alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth, dust removal sticker) to make sure your screen is completely clean before you put it on. And even if you have shaky hands like me, the screen is super forgiving and easy to reposition a couple times if you don't get it perfectly aligned right away. As long as you didn't miss any dirt on the screen, this protector lays down with zero bubbles.But by far my favorite and most important feature is how durable this screen protector is. I've had it on my phone for two years and have dropped it countless times, and only just a week ago did the protector finally crack. When I removed it (also easy), my screen itself was as pristine as the day I bought my phone. So I bought this protector again and it went on just as easily as the first. It's perfect - I have zero cons or complaints.

I've had this on my Xperia Z5 compact for around a month now. I can see some scratches on it already, but I guess I'd rather them be there than on my phone. I wish I had ordered some spare ones so that I could keep my phone looking new. In my opinion, application was pretty tough. I applied immediately after removing the plastic on my brand new phone and cleaned per instructions anyway but there is still a tiny fiber stuck under it. Also I tried to be as careful as possible aligning it, but it is off around the openings for the front-facing camera and the notification light. Overall, I recommend this product, but buy 2 or more if you don't want to be bothered by small imperfections.

I got this cover with my Z5C about a year ago since I'm usually pretty clumsy with my phones. Over the year I had several drops, and cracks and wear slowly built up on the cover, including a few long but thin and unobtrusive hairline cracks across the screen, and several spots at the edges where I was sure the marks were deep enough and rough enough that I must have bit through the cover and chipped away at the phone itself. Finally got a big enough crack in it last night to peel it off for replacement and found that the phone itself is completely SPOTLESS, and the protector worked absolutely perfectly to absorb all the shocks and cracks I've thrown at it. Definitely the best screen protector I've ever used.

Easy to install with no bubbles, clear, made of decent flexible glass. Once you do crack it, the cracks don't spread or get much in the way of phone usage. It fits a little TOO perfectly, though. I wish it was just a half a millimeter shorter and more narrow. The Xperia Z5 as you probably know has ridges surrounding the screen, and I always have one corner of the screen protector caught ever so slightly up.

I bought this glass first time last year and dropped my phone on the concrete surface couple weeks ago. As a results I had only a few chips on the tempered glass, but phone screen was saved. So I bought it again. Also it is important to note that in both times there were no any issues to place a glass on the phone. You need clean your screen carefully and place the glass (just read the manual))))) As a result it is really hard to see that my Sony Xperia Z5 has a protecting glass. And yes the quality of glass is perfect too, screen color or brightness stays the same.

it is a screen protector for a mobile phone

Honestly completely surprised by the quality since i had no idea what to expect. thought the price was a bit steep particularly since i'm used to using the awful plastic covers that almost always result in bubbles and make it difficult to swipe in any direction.the ease of application was the first positive aspect of this screen protector. the reason i bought it in the first place was because i failed to put the plastic one which came with the phone properly. it comes with a wipe/alcohol swab which is not really that wet so it is almost instantly dry after you are done wiping your screen and a micro-fibre cloth one that is actually big enough to be useful. it also comes with a dust removal sticker that isn't even mentioned on the packet, as my phone is brand new it wasn't necessary to use it but it will definitely come in handy if you had your phone for a while. since the screen protector is rigid it is very easy to line up correctly and lightly place on top of your screen and once pressed lightly the silicone adhesive will spread, any areas where it hasn't can be easily smoothed out by lightly pushing towards the edge of the screen until completely bubble free.the most impressive thing about this screen protector however is that it feels better to use than the actual screen itself ! it reaches the very edge of the phone and the rounded edges give a beautiful premium looking finish. it is also very smooth to the touch and does not accumulate dust and fingerprints like the screen would without the tempered glass screen protector. finally the glass itself is shiny and crystal clear.conclusion, i am very happy with this product. easy to use and does everything as describe while exceeding all expectations. this has got to be the best uninformed impulse buy i've made so far and will definitely opt to use tempered glass screen protectors in the future.

Updating this review as the first item I was sent had faulty glue and would not stick properly in all areas of the screen.The seller promptly sent me a replacement free of charge which does now stick perfectly and it is very easy to fit - much easier than the flexible plastic screen that get bubbles under them no matter how hard you try to keep them out!This screen practically fits itself once you have it lined up properly, just lay it on and it seems to adhere and remove bubbles without you needing to do anything.I would still be aware though that the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint claims are not great. I have had screen protectors that do a much better job at being anti-glare (this protector is however better with glare than the Xperia Z5's own screen) and I am yet to find anything that is truly fingerprint proof.For the money though I would recommend it.

Got to say, I was sceptical about just how good these screen protectors actually are but I've had this one on my phone for just over a year and two days ago I managed to launch it onto a hardwood floor during an overzealous de-trousering. It completely cracked and thought my screen would be ruined for sure so braved peeling the protector back a little to find the tempered glass had taken the whole beating and my screen was fine! As a result...I've just ordered another, for that price you can't complain.My only niggle is that over time, minute amounts of air seem to get either between the screen and the tempered glass or between the laminate and the tempered glass and it just looks a bit odd, clearly does the job perfectly and you can still see the screen fine but it's just slightly noticeable when the screen is off. Otherwise, a great product. 👍

I purchased this item to go along with a xmas present and even though at the time I was very happy and found it very easy to fit. I fitted it perfectly with ease and there was no bubbles visible but the beginning of march I could see that it had started to peel away on the right hand side of the phone. It is gradually getting worse and I am going to have to purchase a new one from another supplier and hopefully that will be better.Edit \ 18.04.17The seller has sent me a replacement at no extra cost. I hope this one lasts longer.
