perfect if it has a companion carry on.
ok i see this is flying off the shelves, but no reviews yet. I've bought tons of stuff off Amazon based on reviews so hopefully this will help someone and my 2 bits will be worthwhile. Now to business:The bag is sleek, looks minimalist and 'elite' almost. I bought it to have a checkpoint friendly ultrabook bag, something that would give me leg space even while tucked under the seat on flights. It performs splendidly in that regard - you can stretch both legs if the bag is kept standing up in the middle under the airplane seat. On to pros and cons section:Pros: Really sleek, minimalist design. yet has all of these features:1. a travel friendly case that's attached within the inside of the bag by 2 straps. At checkpoint just pull it out without unzipping the sleeve, yet it remains attached to the bag overall. All the other stuff can remain in bag as usual.2. Has enough sections (more like 2) inside of the bag, and one outer section. Then there is also an ipad/tablet section on the divider of the sections, plus a flap down for papers and such in the innermost part. Looking from outside there is an 'outer section' which has pockets within for keeping your pens, cellphone, a gps if you will (I use it for such) and some space.3. There is a shoulder strap available, that can be easily detached if you want to use it like a broefcase.4. Fits my 13.3 in vaio ultrabook perfectly. I reckon it might even fit a thin 14 in laptop perfectly.5. This was one of most important for me - a strap on the back meaning i can mount it on the roller bag and move around with ease from one terminal to the other, but..Now for the cons:1. The bag is thin. As in not thin that it looks bad - but its more like not even a millimeter expandable thin. You cannot pack much stuff into it other than the notebook, mouse, and some flat structure items. if you;re thinking of pushing in a bulky headphone, forget about it. Ans also that burger, better have it when you having it cuz it wont go into the bag...without being squished a bit that is.2. The strap for mounting on roller bag isn't wide enough - It would fit over handle of a 22 in briggs n riley carry on. Other rollers may have lesser width handles, but this wasn't good for the the one i have. There is a quick and easy solution though - take a knife/paper cutter. Pull the strap upwards and apply light pressure with the knife's edge so as just to cut the threading on inside of the strap (of the backside of the bag. Do this for a few inches on either side. And the strap is now wide enough to get mounted. And.. the bag doesn't look its been tampered, torn or whatever. Tadah! All in all, fit my needs mostly. And that's because I travel with another bigger carry on.

Well constructed but poorly designed. don't bother if you need to also carry your power cord.
This is well-made bag, but it's poorly designed. It's great if the only thing you want to carry is your MacBook Air. However, it's so snug that it's impossible to zip the bag if you want to also carry the power cord. Also, the ability to slide out your MacBook Air for x-ray is a nice touch, but saves you no time...it's tantamount to taking your laptop out of a normal bag and inserting it. There's little efficiency gained. Lastly, the zipper openings are not large enough to fully open the any of the compartments. The zipper openings would benefit by being longer and proceeding around the curve of the bag a bit further. As it is, you're forced to pry open the bag in the vain attempt to see what's at the bottom of it...because you can't open it enough to freely insert or remove items.

Not the same quality as the one from Micro Center
I had purchased this same case at Micro Center for much more money. I was pleasantly surprised to find it for less than half the price on Amazon; so I bought it and returned the other to Micro Center. It is definitely the same model bag, but the quality was clearly better from Micro Center. I'm not sure if these are factory seconds or counterfeits, but the fit and finish is definitely inferior. I kept it, because it is still a good computer bag for the money. It is serving me well.

ROCKS. Get it, you won't be blue.
so awesome. I went to TUMI and was sick of all these bags designed for dinosaur laptops and never being designed right. I searched all the sites for bags and tried to narrow it down. Laptops are paper thin now and we might carry a cel and a tablet. The power supply fits in this bag. Everything fits. I feel like a smart cookie with the handle and how tight this bag is. This brand is awesome and reminds me of Dell computer selling nice stuff over the internet. Its about 6 inches thick and its plenty. This thing rocks!

Great bag
Still using this. I’ve traveled internationally over a dozen times with this and it carries all my electronics and their accessories. Fits easily in the overhead or under the seat in front of me. Very sturdy and strong. Good zippers and fits over the carryon extended handle for transport between flights. You won’t be disappointed

She was very happy with the bag
This was a gift for my cousin. She just bought a new lap top and was sill storing in its original box as she did not want to risk damaging it. She was very happy with the bag. To date, she continues to be happy with it. Good quality.

Briefcase
I recently purchased the MacBook Air and wanted a lightweight case to go with it. This did the trick and at a very good price.

Difficult to use
The case does not fully open up, zipper down the sides, so it is hard to find things. It is thin and easy to carry.
