HodgmanCaster Neoprene Stocking Foot Chest Wader

I got these waders for riding ATVs in wet areas. I live in Florida and the swampy trails can get really deep with water. We took these out in waist-deep water and it didn’t penetrate the waders at all. I prefer the sock-foot to the boot-foot waders, as the boot-foot tend to be really heavy in deep water. I love the fact that there’s a large pocket in the front to keep your phone in, but there’s still a separate area to stick your hands in (like a front hoodie pocket.) I am a female, 5’7” tall and 125lbs, and the small fits perfectly. They’re snug in the leg, which is preferable for me. My boyfriend is 6’1 and slender, and I got him a large - his fit perfectly as well. They DO get a little hot if you’re in warm weather areas, but would be perfect for cold weather activities.

These waders are thick yet flexible and will keep you very warm while fishing in cold water. My only very small issue I have with these waders is that you will end up with wet pants around the groin area if you’re in the water for more that 8+ hours (not a big deal because you won’t notice until you take them of because of how warm they are)

I purchased these for my husband. The first pair didn't fit as they seemed to run a bit small, but it was very easy and quick to exchange them for the correct size, and we appreciated how responsive the sender was to our needs. The waders worked well, keeping my hubby dry and warm. We would recommend these to others.

Foot size and length was just right for my 5'7" frame with 8.5 shoe size. But even at a slim 160 lbs, the belly/ chest was a bit too tight. Legs had plenty of room over my jeans. My previous pair was a MSS and after loosing weight, I thought I'd try a M. But it was too tight for my liking to wear over sweatshirts. If I had tried it on first, I would not have bought it. It is starting to stretch out a little now and will try to stretch it more. You should offer more size diameters like MSS.

I had a pair of these back in the day, but I lost them. I’ve been trying to get another pair, but they just don’t come in size small

Use these with the slip on boots for putting my dock in the spring when the water is below 40F. I like the stocking foot model better than my previous pair with the attached boots - easier on and off. Keeps me comfortable when the water is that cold, I just have to be careful not to abrade them against the dock structure as I install the dock. Neoprene is only so tough.

LIKES:- Construction is solid- Pockets, straps & snaps, were nicely thought and laid out.OK:- Gravel Shield with built-in hooks that attach to boot or sneaker laces is a nice feature but doesn't work perfectly. Despite wading in a relatively flat area of the Susquehanna River, several pieces of gravel made it into my shoes and did cause my one foot to leak slightly.Overall, however, I can't fault these waders. Just like rubber or PCV waders have their weaknesses, still I know these will provide better insulation/warmth and am pretty darn sure their usable life will outlast the other options.
