Hyperkin 3-Port USB Hub with SD Card Reader for PS3/ PC

It works OK, BUT I bought it because it looked like I could plug it into the USB port on the side of my Surface Pro and eliminate having a hub with a cord. However, out of the box the USB plug is too short to go all the way in as there is a plastic lip around it. I cut off the plastic lip so that it would go in further, but it turned out the contacts in the plug are too flat to make good contact with the socket in the tablet. The provided extension cable has spring-loaded contacts so it works fine using the cable but does not work with the tablet in the way I hoped it would.

so i bought this cause my homedogs were coming over and i had a headset that covered one usb port and a special controller that covered the other usb port...so i had 2 take my headphones out! so i bought this productPROS:-does what its supposed 2 do-comes with other stuffCONS:-my ps3 is placed on the floor so whenever i get excited i pull the wire and the whole usb hub comes out-my dog sometimes bumps into the wires and the usb hub comes outEND:I would recommend this to anyone... This thing works just like you'd expect it to. I haven't tried the card reader... Also, you get a USB cord that has a male and a female end... so you can plug this in to the cord to have it away from the system for some reason, or you can do like I did, and extended my charging cable for when I need to charge a controller while playing.

Quality is low. I would have been better off getting a generical USB port expander from the computer department as it is all it really is. The connecting wire is ill fitting the to back of the base and overall construction seems poorly made.

Feels kinda cheap but works fine so far. I use it on my desktop, but have used it on my ps3 as well. Not much else to say, it does what it says.

this ps3 usb hub worked for 3 years than just died the middle usb connection stop working after a month.

I use this an extension cable for the PS3 controller (so I can leave it plugged in and charged) and it does it's job perfectly. Haven't tried the other ports on it as I just have one controller for now, but it's nice to know I have that flexibility as well.

This item is perfect for letting us set-up a podium-top location (used command strips to attach it) where guest speakers can plug in their USB drives and clicker dongles for ease of use and better wireless clicker signal/response than plugging them in inside the metal-cased podium we have.

Worked for 1 week before it crapped out. Funciono por menos de una semana cuando dejo de funcionar. Garbage. Basura.
