Quince jam produced by the Discalced Carmelite Friars of the Carmel Convent in Loano (Savona Area, Italy). The simple but tasty fruit flavours, and even the most delicate or particular ones, like the one of the little-known quince, are enhanced by the use of a traditional recipe. The Monte Carmelo Farm, nestled in an oasis of tranquillity and peace along the Ligurian Coast, boasts a rooted tradition that embodies some of the principles of the Discalced Carmelite Friars and, more generally, of the monastic environments, such as laboriousness and the wise use of the products of the land. In addition to the practice of beekeeping, the Carmelites of Loano grow fruit and olive trees, vegetables, and grapes. Ingredients: quinces (65 g out of 100 g of product), sugar, jellying agent (apple/citrus fruit pectin). Calories (100 g): 224 kcal / 950 kJ.
