Great Eastern GE-8924 Hetalia Axis Powers America 8" Plush Doll

I was very excited to get this little guy, yet so very disappointed when I opened the package. I'm not sure if I just ended up with a defective America, but I can't very well leave an overly positive review when the product I received just isn't up to par. Judging by the picture, now that I'm looking closer, it seems that this is how it was meant to be, but seeing all the positive reviews, I can't help but wonder if mine is different than everyone else's. I know I'm terribly OCD, but this is the first time I've found such blatant flaws in a plushie, and I have dozens of them.Most of the plushie is fine, but as mentioned, there is no 50 on his back, which is thankfully a fairly easy fix, at least. But his hair is what bothers me the most. His bangs are much too far back, (Factory defect too far back) making his forehead look enormous, and Nantucket is in entirely the wrong place. It's just stuck along the middle of the seam, rather than right in front where it should be. Not a terribly easy fix, as it's actually sewn along his part, but luckily I'm crafty or I'd want a refund.I hate to be so Iggi about this, but this was not what I expected at all, especially when the England plushie I got for my roommate was virtually perfect. So if you're as OCD as I am, and expect your plushies to be perfect out of the package, or just would like things to be in the right place, I'd forego this plushie unless you're prepared to put some work into it. If you're not too pressed about the quality/authenticity/encephalitis, then go for it.

Compared to other reviews I've seen of the plush were they talked about the hair looking off compared to the actual design in the anime it looks like how he does in the anime so yeah

I love this little plushie! I got it for a christmas gift and it was the best thing next to the others I got. Even though I give this review 5 stars, I must say that when you get little midget america his hair design is very strange. NOT bad, just weird. Its pushed up a little too far, so it makes it look like he has a very big forehead which does give him a very strange look. Other than that he is cute, lovable, and a great companion to cuddle with. I suggest it to anyone who likes hetalia, or is a fan of america!

Okay, I won't lie, when I first got this doll I thought it was odd-looking. The hairline was way too far back, and so that just looked strange. I also wasn't exactly happy with the fact that America arrived a day after the expected shipping date, but I ordered him around the holiday season, so I kinda got what I deserved.That said, I'm still gonna give this guy five stars because America is just so darn adorable! Not to mention he's a huge hit with all of my Hetalia-obsessed friends and he's surprisingly durable! He's also an adorable companion to curl up in bed and watch Hetalia with on a cold night.

I've been a fan of the Hetalia anime for a very long time now, so when I found out about the plush versions of the characters, I knew I had to have one! My America plush is an exact copy of the way the anime character looks, from his clothing to his facial expression. It is an adorable little toy-doesn't take up too much space, and is so darn cute! Fast delivery and was shipped to me in a top-notch condition. I Absolutely love my plush, and is recommended for any die-hard fan or anyone who loves to collect plushies, as I do.

America is an adorable plushie who sits next to Iggy Brows on my bed. His uniform and coat are very well made and very soft and cuddly. He has gone with me on School camps and has helped me sleep at night, along with annoying poor England XD His cord came off though, but it's an easy fix and I wasn't planning on hanging him up anytime soon! Anyone who loves Hetalia and this strong goofy American will absolutely adore this well-made plushie!

This is a very adorable plushie, and I'm happy with the quality. It's soft, cuddly, and a great likeness to the character it portrays! I bought it as a Christmas gift for someone else, but now I want one for myself! I'm planning on buying another one in the near future.The only thing that I would say, if I was being nit-picky, was that there was a bit of left-over hot glue on the belt. However, that's an easy fix: I just had to pull it off, and all was well.

i just got this today all i have to say is too cute i've owned sevral plushies by ge animation and this one is none the less amazing it even got here two days early of the shipping date so i couldn't have been happy. just a note though the hair macome of the head due to it being a sort of felt if thats the case its best to keep a sewing needle handy but all in al highly recomend to any hetalia fan
