A must have for all bike riders.
TIP: you need to be able to get the sensors, so they pass really close. This takes a bit of patience to acheive.TIP: this kit comes with double the kit bar the actual screen so you can set it up on 2 bikes.I have an upcoming cycling break. In preparation I wanted to improve my old bike so have been buying bits for it.It's easy to setup except the sensor positioning.Charge the main screenAdd the batteries to the sensors.Add the sensor to the spokes, use a spoke that is closest to the fork where you will add the second sensor.Add second sensor using clipties.Try to position the sensor so the spoked on moves as close as possible over the forked one.Pull cable ties really tight.Measure wheel in mmAttach screen holder to handle bar.Power on screenPress set button chose km/h,m/h, press mode to confirmEnter bike tyre perimeter size mm. Press modeSelect your weight, press modeSelect time and date press mode.DoneI am really enjoying this Speedo and surprised at how fast I am going. It's also great to have a record of your total mileage. I can't recommend this enough. If you have a bike you need this.I dropped a star because it is difficult to get the 3mm gap between the sensors. If you found my review useful please consider giving me a helpful vote and perhaps a follow for future reviews. Many thanks

Tries too hard to be clever, but some important features are missing
Got this one because it was one of the few that has a good waterproof rating without costing the earth.Modifying settings can be done with a hard reboot (which is annoying), or by pressing "Mode" to show the ODO/TEM//Time screen, pressing Set to select one of them, then pressing "Mode" and "Set" together for 5 seconds. No way to modify one setting (a wheel size, or KM->Miles) without modifying all the others too (units, weight, servicing distance), which is even more annoying, especially given how slowly the unit responds to button presses. You must, *must* tell it your weight, and it will insist on telling you how many calories and how much fat you burned, even if you only wanted it as a speedometer. Set your weight to 0 if you don't want it to remind you how fat you are. Since it doesn't have any concept of going up hills (riding up a mountain will burn far more calories per mile than riding along a cycle lane, and riding down a mountain uses almost none), the calories and "fat burned" statistics are completely nonsense anyway, merely a screen-wasting gimmick.Every time you need to reboot the device, you then have to correct the clock. Again. Who even cares about a clock when we all have phones and watches. Now you must have another clock slowly creeping out of time that you need to remember to correct regularly. Why can't a speedometer just be a speedometer?Had a small fault; after working for a while, it stopped switching on the backlight when pressing buttons (at night). The only way to correct it; remove battery, reboot. And set the wheel sizes, weight, servicing distance and clock yet again. If you want to keep the light on constantly, which is needed for riding at night or in a tunnel, press Mode and Set at the same time. The battery is too tiny to provide enough juice for a constant light, so night rides will have to be kept to a minimum - they should really have used a better sized battery such as an AAA rather than a CR2032 button battery. The manufacturers have stated that it will keep the light on between 17:00 and 07:00 (night time). Between those times, it will only switch the light on only for a few seconds after you press Mode or Set, or constantly if you press both at the same time. Between 07:00 and 17:00 (daytime), it will not switch the light on at all when you press Mode or Set, even if you are in a dimly lit tunnel, but it will switch on if you press both at the same time. Really quite an unpredictable feature design, with no way to alter the behaviour or timings. In northern areas, winter nights can remain dark for much longer than this manufacturer expected. At least the screen is easy to read when the light is actually on.You cannot see the max-speed or average speed while you are moving. You must stop to see how fast you were going (press Mode to flip screens, and it shows the Max and Average speed in place of the regular speed info, for a couple of seconds only).Touchscreen makes it very difficult to use with gloves. You must use finger-less gloves or dedicated touchscreen gloves. The mount is solid enough, but can only be put on the left handlebar to position it ahead of the steering column, or the right handlebar to position it behind the steering column. Hope you didn't need that side for a bike light. You get two spoke magnets and two transmitters, so you can attach it to two bikes, and just move the computer between them depending on which bike you are using today (great!). But you only get one clip to attach it to a bike, so instead of just clipping the unit to another bike, you have to unclip it from one bike, get out a screwdriver, unscrew the clip from one bike, screw it to the other bike, clip the unit back in. How stupid. Makes it completely pointless having two transmitters.Spoke magnets are a little too easy to move, even if you do them up very tightly. A few good jumps, and it can spin around the spoke. I ended up using the old magnet from an older computer, that could be held much more firmly onto the spoke. The instructions are poorly translated, but thankfully installation is relatively easy. There are some places where the instructions contradict themselves; in one place it says data will be saved when changing batteries, but in another it says data will not be saved. This could be due to bad translation. The instructions are not great for learning how to use the device after installation. The way to view MXS (max speed) and AVS (average speed) is not documented correctly, and must be discovered by chance. This leaves you wondering if maybe there were some more hidden features you wanted but didn't know how to activate.

I broke several world records and defied the laws of physics using this thing. You can too, maybe.
Firstly, the instructions are rubbish. The hardware seems very good and I had no issue installing the sensors and the main unit on the handlebar. Then the fun started. The control unit needs to be configured and basically the important thing it needs to know is your wheel diameter. I looked up the corresponding number in the table based on my wheel diameter and entered this into the unit. Everything else you enter is just unnecessary but I entered it anyway, including my weight and the bikes maintenance schedule (I kid you not). After it was all done and I tested that the wheel magnet was triggering the sensor and set off on my first test ride. I was doing amazingly well, reaching 99mph within a couple of seconds and had travelled 3 miles within 30 seconds or so. I stopped just to make sure that the sensor was working and being triggered by the wheel and everything was just fine. I turned the bike around (at 30mph, 10ft radius) and returned home in 30 seconds, having travelled another 3 miles @ 95mph.I did have a nagging doubt that the unit wasn’t working well so I reset it completely, went through the setup process again and still had the same world record-breaking results. I am a cycling god, obviously.

Does the job. Great value for money.
Easy to install. Slightly tricky to set up because if you mess it up you have to take out the battery and start again, but I'll put that down to my own stupidity. The accuracy correlates very well with my TomTom GPS watch apart from the calories burned estimate. I don't know which is correct, but calories on the TomTom is at least 2-3 times that indicated on this device. I suspect the truth is somewhere in between.

Superb Purchase.
This Blusmart Bike Computer does more than required, so many different functions more than enough, 1 function is if you stop to chat the timer stops, when you move off it starts recording immediately, brilliant idea, many many more functions. Very simple and very quick to install, and one benefit is the computer simply twists and can be removed from bike, another brilliant idea. Superb value for the cost of this item.

Great bike computer
This bike computer has far surpassed all expectations. It is so easy to set up and install even my 11 year old daughter could do it. Its a very smart looking piece of kit and it seems good quality. The display is very easy to read and gives way more information than ill ever need. I cant comment on accuracy exactly as I have nothing to compare it to tech wise however it seems pretty reliable going on distance
