It Worked !!
I have a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 Hemi and that I purchased with 197,000 miles. I always change plugs on a used vehicle when I first buy one. NEVER had a problem till this time. ALL plugs were extremely tight, hard to turn loose. The 4th plug hole from the front, on the right side broke off, these plugs sit DEEP in the cylinder head. I WAS DEVASTATED, and stressed out to the max. Figured I was screwed big time, faced with towing it somewhere or attempting to pull the heads myself. Anyway, it took about 3 days getting the broke plug out, and my friends help, and soaking in PB Blaster. YOU HAVE TO PUNCH OUT THE CENTER OF THE BROKEN PLUG, and then drive the extractor in the center of the remaining threaded metal part of the plug. TURN COUNTER CLOCKWISE, I used the 2nd to biggest extractor. I can’t put all instructions and details on here, it would take too long. When you punch/knock out the remaining porcelain, the end WILL FALL INTO THE CYLINDER HEAD but you can get it out, it won’t fall down far into No Mans Land And Disappear. We made some punch tools and a magnet on a wire. The big body style durango hemi’s are not fun to change plugs.

Worked great
This tool worked perfectly to remove a spark plug that broke off flush on an engine.

Only good for a few uses
These are decent extractors. They worked better than my spiral extractors. The only problem was that they are easy to strip. I got about 5 uses out of them before the tip was bent and unusable.

These prevented a head replacement
These. saved. my. a**. Don't ask me how but one of my spark plugs snapped off; you know that feeling of dread when something happens during a project and you're like "oh no, that's going to be expensive". Yeah it was that moment. Like others have said, take your time. Hammer it in, double check you don't puncture the cylinder head. Take your time, slow consistent torque is the key.

Work okay
They work okay for the price but seem to be a one and done kind of tool from my experience

Broke on first try
I heated up my snapped bolt to give these extractors the best chance to get my bolt out and these snap during first use…

Superb. Bought these to try and remove 2 broken spark plugs on a Ford Focus. Used the largest size in the pack with a 3/8 extension upside down with an adjustable spanner to turn it. Gripped the broken off bit with no bother and pulled it straight out. Saved me taking the cylinder head off.

Snapped a plug in my 08 f150. I had to break away the porcaline inside the plug which took a little, but this extractor worked like a charm to extract the plug. 100% woth it.
