The cables are a little heavy and a bit awkward to use but they add a level of security to your bike. We use it mostly to lock up our bikes when riding around town during the day, going to events or restaurants....usually in public places. They are easy to carry wrapped around a seat post and one will stretch to lock both of our bikes. I wouldn't want to count on these at night in a big city. I don't believe they'd deter anyone but for casual day use they'll do the job.

Solidly built, weather resistant, maybe a little too unwilling to uncoil, but otherwise some thief cut through it with only one or two tries, judging by the cut marks on the cable. Wanna see what it looks like inside? Check out the picture...

Very well made. Cable and lock are substantial. Easy to set up custom lock code. Highly recommended.

I like that this has the combo lock on it. I purchased it to secure some RV equipment and didn't want another key to keep track of. The cable is long enough for what I needed and it coils up nicely when putting it away. I'm not sure if it would hold up to bolt cutters, but it does provide a deterrent.

Long enough to wrap around pole and through wheels & frame of the bike.

Works well and feels pretty heavy duty, it'd take some work to get this off. I like that it's a number lock instead of letters like one I bought from Walmart. My son was too lazy to spin half of the word so this is much better
