Works with Dell INSPIRON i570-6939PBK Desktop System
My original Dell Desktop power supply died two years after I purchased it. I replaced it with Coolmax V-600 power supply and it worked for nine years, but recently the system shut down unpredictably and often. So I purchased this Coolmax ZX-600. It has more connectors than I need and it works great the first time I plugged in the connectors to my system. The only drawback is that it smells plastic and circuitry heating. Fortunately, I let the fan exhaust air out the window and hopefully after use it for a while, the smell would go away.

This was a replacement and identical to what was installed ...
This was a replacement and identical to what was installed in PC. But, this replacement seems to run noisier and it sometimes just shuts down while I'm on it. I don't know if I can return it back and try a different power supply. Help anybody.

Coolmax ZX-600 Power Supply
COOL! That's what the Coolmax ZX-600 Power Supply is! It runs cool & quiet with its 140mm dual ball-bearing fan (compared to 120mm or less in most competitor's PS) along with 0.99 Active Power Factor Correction. 80 PLUS certified efficiency, single +12V rail, and auto switching circuitry means constant high power availability. Support for Nvidia SLI, ATI Crossfire, ATX 12V 2.2 and EPS 12V 2.91 compliance makes it versatile for nearly all high power applications and PC motherboards. This is the quietest, most dependable power supply I have ever owned.

Wow! Not in a good way.
Installed into system, turned on master power switch on it, it immediately begins to emit a high frequency squeal and the system isn't even powered on yet. Once the PC is powered up, the squeal seems to dissipate. The fan doesn't come on right away and I begin to feel some heat radiating from the grate. Started up a high GPU demand game. The fan finally kicks on, but it is vibrating and bumping against the wire grate making a ton of noise. The +12V was at 12.1 under no load, but dropped to 11.7 once in game. I suppose that is technically in spec, but it seems to be a pretty big hit and I'm not sure how long that will last. This item has been returned.

Does The Job
Not the quietest, but not loud either which is why I took away a star. Other than that it has provided stable power to my unit without any problems. Highly recommend!

Inexpensive and works fine
Inexpensive and works fine, almost no noise at all, I like the big and quiet fan that have, runs fine with my MSI Pc-Mate, i5 Intel, GTX 960 SSC, 1 optical drive and 3 HDD...

It is a 20/24 pin connector type power supply.
Worked as intended.

Fairly loud
It does the job. But I gotta say that I wasn't expecting so much noise from it. My computer stays in my room, always on for Magicjack, and this just barely hits that 'annoying noise' mark.
