PETMATE DOGLOO XT DOOR MEDIUM

I purchased this for my cats igloo, called the pet mate kitty cat condo. It fits but not as described. I lined her door with insulation to fill the gaps to keep her warm. Specifications should be more accurate. However, after a few adjustments it has lasted through one winter and we are on our second winter and the door/flap is still in good shape.

Too heavy for pets to push through that are smaller. You can't put a blanket in and the pet push it open to go in. Spoke with our mailman who has one and their dog has the same issue and won't go in. Too heavy and needs to be made of a lighter material like a shower liner.

There seem to be a problem with the doors fitting the Petmate Igloo Outside Houses. I suggest that you read the order forms really closely including the small print and it will tell you the right door for the right House. I have never had any problems with the ones I have had through the years. I love Petmate Igloos Outside Dog House, it is a good product.

I did not realize the large sized door is too small for the extra large dogloo. The Amazon website did not explain this very well. I will still use the door as it was partially my fault on the misunderstanding. The door is difficult to attach to the dogloo because of limited space to access the nut and bolt which fastens the door to the top of the opening. Also had to redrill the holes as it will not line up correctly because of the different sizes in doors.

This door is worth the extra cost. It is a thinner plastic that is so much more bendable than the cheaper thicher ones. We had the cheaper ones before and not after too long they break around the screws from the dog going in and out and these ones have lasted so many times more that we haven't had to replace it. We ordered another for our other dog house now.

This is great for the dog doors. I had to guess if it would fit my dog's door and so I got the wrong one.

The product was as describe, a good price, easy to order and arrived fashionably. I just have to take the time to return because I ordered the wrong size (not sellers fault)

The flap is just big enough to fill the opening to the dogloo and keep the nasty weather out. It's a very flexible flap and resists being stuck as the pet goes in and out of the dogloo. I did have to redrill new holes as the holes that were in the flap didn't line up with what was in the dogloo already, but that was a minor detail and easy to accommodate.

The door is exactly what we expected. The only very small issue was that we had to drill new holes in the Dogloo frame to install the door. Not a big deal. It could be that our Dogloo was manufactured a different year. Very happy and our dog too!
