Hungarian Paprika Premium Quality Sweet/Hot/Smoked (Origin: Kalocsa,Hungary) (Hot, 250g)

Bought first IN Hungary and brought home! I generally don't like "hot" stuff, but the mild is too mild. Get the medium, at least.

This is the REAL Hungarian paprika (not the "Hungarian-style" that comes in a little plastic container). It's smoky, earthy and very tasty. Not as hot as I would like, but then again, I have a very high tolerance for spiciness and what's mild for me is hot for others. The package arrived very quickly, in about four or five days (it was shipped to Virginia from Belfast) -- faster than the other items I ordered at the same time. I had really been missing the authentic Hungarian flavor, and this is it.

Der Papirka ist leider etwas teuer, aber die schaerfe und der Geschmack sind echt sehr gut. Wem also der hohe Preis egal ist, das Produkt an sich ist super. Ich verwende ihn viel zu oft :D

I bought 3 types of this brand, the sweet, smoked and hot smoked.All are wonderful. Nice strong flavour and great for so many dishes we cook, including our goulash, jambalaya, chilli con carne and many more.We use a lot of paprika so these nice size bags are perfect and well worth the money.

Das beste für einen guten Ungarischen -Gulasch.
