Works perfectly
Bought this when our old control box broke. That thing had to be 30 years old and some of our modules are about that old too. I plugged in this little gem and set the house code and everything worked seamlessly. I set the on and off functions much easier than I anticipated. It is perfect. Thank god I found this!!

This works great. I set timers for my outdoor lights so I always come home to a well lit yard and porch.Only problem is that once or twice a week, it doesn't turn on the lights. It's an intermitten problem, don't know why. Once I then manually turn on the lights, it turns them off on schedule. Wish it worked 100% of the time instead of 90% of the time.

Yep, this is the one to get.
For those of us who still use and swear by the X10 system, this is a great little box. Easy to program...and throws a strong signal on the power line. This is the third box that I have had in the past 10 or so years, which brings up the only complaint that I have: the clock numerals burn out. But, as inexpensive as the unit sells, that is really not a problem for a very reliable box.

I must be an idiot, I couldn't get the settings to work, had to return.

It Works
It works as it is suppose to work . This is a replacement fot one bought at Radio Shack Many years ago.

good timer
Needed a replacement after 12 years because not being able to see the numbers. It worked just didn't know what time it was, made it hard at time changes.

Does the job but not conveniently
This is a replacement for a very old version which began to work intermittently. I found the control buttons very small and the identification on each button equally small. This makes it somewhat difficult to use especially when trying to turn on a controlled light in the dark. Also the clock display backlight is too bright for keeping this control by one's bedside during the night.As far as setting it up, it is quite easy and it does what it is supposed to do.

Nice Alarm clock, Except it runs slightly fast!
This Alarm clock will work with the old "Radio Shack: Plug N Power" Modules - (The Reason I bought it)It has the right brightness that can be seen, But not so bright that It lights up your bedroom!It is easy enough to operate that I didn't need the instructions.The 2 AA batteries not included, keep the time during power outages.However the clock runs fast, so I have to keep fixing the time. On Average it adds 5 minutes per month that goes by
