Hard for younger hands
My 6 y/o son received this item as a gift for Christmas (which I helped pick out). This looked easy, just snap the tracks together, hours of imagination and fun right? NO! These tracks do NOT EASILY snap together. After I opened the box, and a gazillion pieces and stickers fell out, I thought oh well, I can build the airport and he can build the track. After trying to snap a few tracks together we ended up with pliers and hammers to squeeze and pound the tracks together! Are you serious!?!?! After we got the tracks assembled like the picture, the road supports did not stay connected to the road. The supports help the road stay together when in use... a half a bottle of superglue later the supports were fully attached. You can forget re-routing any roads (extra tracks had been purchased with this set) in the future.This looks like a great gift for a younger child just be aware it is very very very (can't stress this enough!) difficult for small hands to assemble. I would not purchase this for a gift.Originally I thought the Hotwheel tracks my older son had would be too hard for my younger child. If you need to choose between the two, I would strongly suggest Hotwheels over these.
