I seldom write reviews but thought this would be helpful to others and I often benefit from reviews posted on Amazon. This is by far the best blow dryer I have ever purchased due to light weight, speed of drying, and how shiny it makes my hair (blond, long, medium thickness). Here are the dryers I have used and tested this against. new Dyson dryer (too large for travel and too hot), T3 (no better than drugstore dryer), GHD (also highly recommend but heavy and not ideal for travel), Spoed Freak (too hot and too strong left hair fried, lower setting too low to dry quickly). The only styling I do is a blow dryer so quality matters. I do NOT have to use a hot iron if I use this dryer. The other major plus is that this dryer serves as everyday and is as small/light enough to serve as a travel dryer. Just LOVE it. It is only 1600 watt and found that hair more healthy when using compared to 1800 or 2000 watt. Dries my hair just as quickly but with no damage like higher wattage dryers. Another plus, do not have to use as much conditioner due to how shiny it makes my hair.

I’ve been a hairdresser for over 12 years.With that said I’ve been through about a few dryers until it would finally crap out on me.I’ve owned:-Chi (ion) feather weight: which no longer exist LOVED but I went through 3 bc it would crap out through time.-Elchim 2000: light weight, powerful although since it isn’t “ion” it would take a while to dry the hair. Still have but I want get my clients in and out- Solano: powerful but too heavy, still have it but not ideal as my shoulders and arms get too tired.- BaByliss V1 & V2: powerful, med weight, although lasted only 2 years maxTo now this dryer.Honestly, I was so excited for it. It’s has a shorter neck which is great as I am short myself. I don’t need to over extend, super light weight (my round brush felt like it weighed more) dried and smooths the hair quickly.I fell in Love.Today was the first day I used this dryer. Brand new it if the box. I used it on 3 clients until my 4th client it’s crapped out in a middle of a drying session. My heart dropped and thankfully another stylist let me borrow her dryer (which was heavy) to finish my client. So frustrating!!!I don’t know what happened I checked the vent to see if there was any hair/lint that may of gotten sucked in which it shouldn’t since it was brand new, it did not.I did the reset button on the end of the cord that get plugged into the wall, nothing.I checked every outlet in the salon it did not turn on.I was so embarrassed.After my client left I was going to wrap it up and get ready to do a return. But I wanted to give it one last chance. So I plugged it in and long behold it turned on again. “WTF?!”I couldn’t give this dryer a 1 Star. I gave it 2 stars because it was perfect. Until it crapped out. At this point I don’t know why to do it is just a bad dryer itself and order another or what.I guess by me doing this review I just wanted to let people know this may happen.Good luck.

Possibly the best hair dryer EVER! Seriously, I have fine, blonde hair that frizzes very easily. I was fed up with my second CHI hair dryer that broke after only using it for a short time. Not to mention, my hair was feeling dry and looking frizzy all the time. I scoured Amazon and read tons of reviews before I stumbled upon this gem. After using it for the first time my hair was literally transformed! No more frizz! I used the dryer with the attachment and the ion switch turned on. I live in Houston where humidity is about 210% all the time. Even after a being out and about in the Houston humidity my hair still looks great! This dryer is worth every penny! Don't hesitate to buy!

I have used this Professional Ionic Hair Dryer for a week. I love the size and weight, and I agree that it dries as quickly as those with higher wattage use. The quality is excellent, and my hope is that it will last for many years to come. When I registered it for the 2 year warranty, I learned that after the 30 day return offered by both Amazon and 6th Sense expires, there is a $25 fee that goes with the hair dryer if it needs to be returned for repair or replacement, in the first year. In the second year, there is a contact email address only. It does not say if there is a fee. Also, the product must be registered within 30 days for the 2 year warranty to go into affect. I do not see this information on this page.

BUY IT! I do not normally leave reviews for anything.I have been a stylist for 25 years. I have used EVERY expensive hair dryer on the market.My husband bought this hair dryer for himself, At that time I was using the Xtava dryer, which was subpar. The packaging of the 6th sense was misleading. Not professional for a $190 dryer, but whatever.I decided to try it one day, AND OMG! Have have been using this dryer since Dec 2017. I have fine, long, heavily highlighted, wavy just enough to frizz, hair. 🙄I have to use root lifters and volume moose for it to look like it has any volume at all. I dry with a round brush and no longer have to use my flat iron AT ALL. Which is great for the health of my hair.I stole this dryer from my husband and gave him mine. Lol!This dryer, in one use, changed my life! I’m ordering a second one today for my 23yo daughter. She steals it everyday for her use, she has the same exact type of hair I have. Just a bit thicker than my hair.Do not hesitate to buy this hair dryer. You will not be disappointed!

As far as this dryer goes, I am sending it back. It did not fulfill my expectations ... HOWEVER ... at the point that I made my first review, I received an email from the company. Not only did they ask specifically (and sincerely) what I did not like about the dryer, they offered to send me a new hairdryer at no cost and completely refunded my account!I am looking forward to getting the second dryer and will definitely be back on to share how it works.Until then, 6th Sense, the company, is doing things the right way *****
