Contigo Astor 2-pack Vacuum-Insulated Autoseal Easy Clean Lid Travel Tumblers Stainless Steel/Green

The Contigo Astor is my third kind of Contigo mug I've used (in many years of owning these mugs) and it is my favorite so far. The reason: To me it has the most ergonomic-shaped lid/spout configuration that allows you to drink without hitting your nose. I used the Bella for years. Purchased many of them. It was fine too but, these lids are better. Contigo came out with the West Loop which I believe was the first lid created for easier cleaning. But, the cap of the West Loop has very little concavity to it; its shallow and flat. So unless you want to smash it into your nose (and I have a relatively small nose) you have to tip your head way back to get the last of your coffee. The cap of the Astor is nicely concaved and the spout is well shaped too. The inside of the cap has a little section that folds back for easier cleaning but, this was never a real issue for me with any of the Contigo mugs. With regard to how hot it keeps the drink, I finish off a cup of coffee within an hour or so and therefore, I'm not a good source to judge on the insulation quality but, it always keeps my coffee nice and hot.

Received different version of the cups pictured on the product page. Seems to work but the button is in a different spot and shape is slightly different. When I buy something, I expect to get what is described.

After purchasing a similar Contigo model at Costco I was very impressed with this brand. After losing one thermos I decided it was time to buy another pair. Costco wasn't carrying them anymore so I purchased these on Amazon. Let's start with the good: 5 stars for how hot these kept our coffee. But the hotness of our coffee didn't compensate for the fact that both thermoses began leaking after a little over a month. And I'm not talking a little leak. I'm talking coffee pouring out of the thermos if we tipped it too far or it fell over. When I screw the lids on it looks like they are no longer flush with the bottoms. On one of the thermoses, the seal began coming out of the lid. Unfortunately for us, this put us over the 30 day return policy. Now we are stuck with two pieces of junk. I hate filling up our landfills with this kind of stuff. I wish Contigo would have made a better quality product.

Nice design, but it is not impact-proof at all! After my daughter had dropped her bottle on the floor, it started leaking. We tried shifting the green button to the Locked position, but it didn't help much. Looks like the cap has got slightly deformed after the fall and it is no longer sealing the bottle. We used the cap from another bottle in the set and it worked fine.

Contigo is the best, It's that simple. Hot stays hot for about 5 to 6 hours. Cold stays cold for about 10 hours. They're no spill with a locking spout. I've bought about 30 of these already. I give them as gifts, and I have several that I use.

Good...leaks a bit.

I've been using travel cups for the last 30 yrs and this cup I rate the best by 1000% over. The Greatest! Stays hot for 3 to 6 hrs depending on the temp at pouring. I add a large ice cube to cool to my preference and sometimes the joe is still warm after 3-4-5 hrs. I haven't dried it with iced tea . Thank You Contigo.
