Tricky to set up
We've used this clock for a while so I've given it 3 stars as it's working to a certain extent but it's really hard to use if you want the light to stay on all night. We've ended up setting it to think it's night time in the middle of the afternoon so the light turns off on it's own and then we manually set it to the nighttime 'blue' light at our desired bedtime which the goes green in the morning. If little hands change the settings it takes us days to figure out how to get it back again. We wouldn't be without a light up clock like this in general as it's been a lifesaver to teach our child when to get up in the morning but wouldn't recommend this brand.

Cute design - very similar to Little Hippo but much cheaper! So far so good!
Having purchased the very similar but more expensive Little Hippo clock for my son, I purchased this one to have at his grandparent's house, as my son kept saying he didn't know when he was meant to get up! The mechanics of the clock seem identical to the Little Hippo clock (which is excellent), so I am hoping this one works as well! Set up is easy and my son is very pleased with his alarm clock to have at Nanny and Grandad's house. We set the get-up time for 8 am so the yellow light comes on at 7.30 am - this is when he pretty much enters our room on the dot announcing "my light is yellow"

Great Alarm Clock
The media could not be loaded. This is a great alarm clock with built in night light, perfect for young children, there’s also a calming tune that can be played to assist in the bed time routine. The night light has several options to ensure that the child has their preferred glow when going to sleep. It’s the first time I’ve seen a clock like this with a built in thermometer to ensure that the temperature of the room is sufficient for a good nights sleep (it reads in either Celsius or Fahrenheit). It’s gives you peace of mind to see that the room isn’t too hot or cold. There is also a lock function to make sure the child doesn’t accidentally change the settings.Overall, it’s a great alarm clock that is highly recommended!

Cute clock but too bright and blue light?!
Why do clock manufacturers insist on using blue light for sleep aids?! Even at the dullest screen setting it's so bright you can see everything in the room, and using a blue surround light in the 30 minutes before sleep is utter madness since blue light is known to hinder sleep. The lights coming on in the morning are also very very bright. I've ended up putting it face down. The nap function isn't what I expected, the face doesn't go to sleep during the set nap time, the surround light just comes on at the end of it. Bit inconsistent if you're trying to teach your kid when they should be asleep.

Not a quick set up
Used to encourage not getting up too early

Loved By Little Boy
Our boy loves his new froggy clock. It's easy for him to understand and has already helped him stay in bed rather than jumping out and calling for his mummy. I heard an alarm this morning which I hadn't realised I'd set but it was not too intrusive and our son actually quite liked listening to it so if anything it helped with his routine. The colours are not excessively bright and actually turn off while he is asleep; it comes on blue to tell him it is bedtime and yellow/green when it's time to wake up. So far I like it very much. A rechargeable battery pack rather being constantly plugged in might be nice but it's no problem thus far. For the price it's a very good unit.

Love it. And it worked wonders.
My son is 5 and never had an issue sleeping but this summer or with the dark etc.We started using a plug in night light as his imangation has kicked in 😂.. And then as summer started he was waking up with the roosters at 5am!Honestly didn't think it would work.. But we set it so 'froggy' goes to sleep at 730.. The night light stays on and his picks the colour.. Then at 645.. Froggy turns green and he knows he can get up! I'm in shock.. Sometimes he wakes earlier but will stay in bed until froggy is green!! So well worth it!!

Is a nice clock but is too bright for a night light!!
My daughter loves that it’s a frog and there are different colour lights for a night light. But I find the half an hour earlier light doesn’t make sense and is hard to explain to a child that it doesn’t mean wake up time.I couldn’t work out if you can dim the night light otherwise it’s much to bright. My younger son has pulled the lead and the plug that goes into the frog has snapped which isn’t ideal so will not be using this again.
