Headband Slider Part
One of the sliders broke when putting headset on. I bought this item. I followed the instruction video and replacement was fairly easy. I recommend the part. It is sturdy. It comes with two two-part sides, screws, screw driver and pry tool.

Works but doesn't feel that secure, also the instructions could be improved
Edit: October 2022 and it’s still going strong so upgrading to 4 starsThe Good:I didn't see any other alternatives on Amazon so considering this is the only choice, it does at least seem to work. More 3.5 stars than 3.The Bad:It really doesn't feel that sturdy. My main concern is the screws on the silver mount plate as those feel like they're going to come off at some point, but in general, even the sliding bit on rails for the headphone length feels like it has much less tension than before.I'm going to preemptively use duct tape to hopefully make it all more secure (though that won't help with the screws on the mount plate. The instructions could also be improved. For step 4, where it says to 'use the original screws to secure the silver mounting plate', I repeatedly tried and failed to secure it with the screws that were securing the mounting plate as those screws were smaller than the other screws. I finally got it to work with the original screws from step 1. But since this kit includes 8 screws and only uses 4, it makes me think that the instructions might have been wrong and you are perhaps meant to include the screws that come with the kit. If anyone reads this and is struggling, it might be worth trying those screws first to see if it feels more secure.I also struggled with the positioning in step 4 for some reason. Ahead of screwing it in, it's worth aligning the outer cover at the same time just to ensure that you have accurately positioned the silver mount plate. Try shifting the silver mount plate to different positions to make it easier to align. The included screwdriver is also a bit finnicky. I fortunately had a better one at home with a magnetic tip that made the job significantly easier.

Excellent Replacement Part for Sony Headphones
So happy to find a kit for these parts. My headphones broke and I thought I would have to buy a new pair. The parts were easy to install quickly and easily. They seem like they would not break again because of the substance used. Still easy to adjust headband...Very Happy with purchase and highly recommend.

Really poor quality, even not fitting
I had to replace both inner and outer covers (both broken), and I am pretty much disappointed.Everything is poor quality:- The screwdriver was damaged as soon as I tried to unscrew (I couldn't even remove one screw with the provided one, I had to take one of mine) to the covers.- One of the two inner covers broke when I tried to install it (and honestly I went easy on it)- Screws don't really fit in holes- I really have the feeling that the covers may brake very easily, seems to be cheap plasticI had found a really good workaround by maintaining right covers with scotch tape, it was completely fixed, not moving at all, the only negative point (except the visual aspect) was that I couldn't fold up the right side anymore, but it wasn't that important to me.Now, the right side is folding up by itself because inner screws didn't fit, and it seems that covers aren't also fitting that good with the main part as the right side does not stay adjusted (moving by itself).Icing on the cake: it is now creaking (after 1 day of usage)!Maybe I am just really unlucky and received a faulty product because everyone say it is a great product (maybe fake reviews) but I doubt about it a lot.

It works! Easy fix. I bought two kits for two pairs of headsets.
Works great to repair the Sony wireless headphones. I’m glad I don’t have to spend $300 to get a new pair and can keep using the old one for a while longer.

Good slider parts replacement
The original side slider of my headphones got recently broken, and I've purchased these from Amazon to fix it. I am extremely happy that my headphones are now fully operational. The look and feel is kinda cheap, but it certainly does the job, and you won't notice it anymore after few days. I've had the Sony MDR 1000 X for years. They are honestly great, and still perform as if new (sound quality, battery life, noise cancellation ...). I didn't upgrade yet (even though generation 2, 3 and 4 are out) because the ones I have are still in great condition. And thanks to these replacement parts, it seems that my headphones are going to last for a while. The parts are easy to replace, I have followed the video tutorial. All the tools needed are provided within the package (screws, screw driver ..). It took me a while, but everything was set within 30 minutes. The sliders definitely look different from the original ones, but I personally do not care as long as they are serving their purpose. I've rated them 4 starts ouf of 5 because the look and feel is cheap (compared to the original ones).

Great Product, Possibly Inconsistent Quality.
I'm happy that the replacement bands properly fit my Sony MDR-1000x Headphones. They work well and don't affect the comfortability of the headband at all, nor the sound quality. My only disappointment, and a rather big one, is in the need to puncture in the bottom screw holes when assembling the sliding bands. Three of the holes punctured just fine and the screws went in with little issue. The fourth one, however, was not fully formed and I had to find a new screwdriver and bore the hole out carefully before I could screw the new part on. I only hope it won't impact the reliability of the product over time.

Works but far from perfect
+ easy to replace broken part+ functionally, headphones work fine- Very obviously different from the original part. size and shape are not the same as original- The sliding of the can is very loose. When the headphone is under tension(ie on your head), it stays put, but it slides all over the place when it isn't being worn.
