Monster NTune On-Ear Headphones - Matte Green

***UPDATED REVIEW***I purchased 3 (different colors/same seller) of these in March and a 4th in July of 2017. I feel an updated review is necessary. Now, don't get me wrong, these headphones have amazing sound and are extremely comfortable. HOWEVER, I have now given them 2 stars because the 3 I purchased in March have all broken. The first one that broke I thought was just a fluke. I sent them in under warranty and received a new pair. (different color, only black available). Still satisfied customer. The second ones to break, broke in the same spot. Fine...slightly irritated, I send them in, under warranty, and receive an upgraded pair of wireless headphones! OK, still satisfied. Third pair just broke a month ago. Now out of warranty, and broke in the same spot. ((no longer satisfied customer)) The last pair is still being used, however, it was purchased a few months after the original 3. I feel they will succumb to the same fate as the others. BUT NOW, you cannot get in touch with the company. AT ALL!!! After having worked with the company with the 2 returns, I was surprised to find, they no longer answer their phones. So, the search is on to find another pair of headphones. THIS IS NOT A SELLER PROBLEM. IT'S A MONSTER PROBLEM!Original review....Some of the BEST headphones I have ever used! Excellent sound and look great! Worth it!

Some really solid and quality sounding headphones. Some of the material feels a little cheap in terms of plastic, so you can be really rough on them and just toss em around. Sound quality, imo, is better than Beats Solo 2 (from like 2012, haven't really played with the new ones) and obviously trying to compete with those based on styling. Not so muddled with boosted bass, but more natural sounding and hits the deeps just fine. More of a balance sound with attention to audio detail. They are great and not too pricey.Comfort is ok. I can set them on my head correctly where I'd be fine wearing them for several hours. I have a relatively large head and they fit just fine when pulled out a bit. Some of the plastic around where they adjust has 'bent' or 'warped' a little after weeks and weeks of wear and stretching on my big head, but no signs of breaking or cracking.Side note, I also use these playing my PS4, fyi. The controller takes the standard cable jack, can set all audio output to the phones, and the mic works.

I have owned various Koss models, an AR, several Sonys, etc., etc., and these new Monsters outperform everything I have previously owned. So much so in fact that I am hearing things on some of my oldies that I have never previously heard before. Couple that performance with the price and these immediately become the best I’ve ever owned.If there’s a negative (and this is REALLY picky, it’s the “doubling up” option. I just can’t imagine why I would want to be tethered to someone else like astronauts on a space walk.Bottom line: great product, highly recommended!

This is the second pair I purchased. As seen in the pictures, that was also what happened to the first pair. But I thought maybe it was me, so I bought the second pair. But guess what, NOT ME! Major Design Flaw. Look at the reviews, I am not the only one this has happen too; broken in the very same spot. There is a weakness in the headband in the area of the connector from the band to the earphone. After the second pair failed, in the same way, I tried to contact Monster to see what they could do about this. But Monster and or their Customer service does not exist! They don't reply to any form of communication. Buy another brand, one that has a customer service department that will aknowledge that customes inqueies.

I bought a pair of these headphones when they were new onto the market a few years back they sound so good and still work even years later I bought some cheap headphones and believe it or not after very little usage I find that one of the speakers would not be working with these particular units I have no issues. They work just as good as the first day that I bought them very good frequency response work so good I bought a second pair

I have had multiple pairs of these headphones and I refuse to get a different brand/type. They are so comfortable and they sound amazing. The only issue I keep having is after about a year or so, the band snaps near the top. I have managed to hold on to them once this happens (duck tape will get you far in life) but it is not optimal. Other then that I adore these headphones!

These are great sounding headphones! However both of my kids have broken theirs in the same place (the head part) and monster will not answer their phones to cover the warranty. Not sure if they went out of business or what, but no one will answer the calls. I had a friend that had used the warranty before, and had no issues, but that was about a year ago. She is now having the same problem with no one answering the phone.

This is actually the second pair of these headphones that I purchased. They work great and are very, very comfortable. I use them at the gym when I'm working out. I had to replace them because one of the ear cushions started to wear out but that was just because the way I was wrapping the cord around them. Other than that, highly recommended.

These were purchased via a marketplace seller and are really very good. I already had retail versions of these and was impressed with them. However, these were ridiculously cheap so was a little dubious. What turned up were some really nice headphones, identical in quality and appearance to my retail versions, expect that they had no in-line volume control and the cable was fixed rather than removable. They were in relatively plain cardboard boxes with 'Monster' branding and a statement that they were demo versions - so, presumably, for use in stores. They were listed as 'used' but appear to be new.My daughter in law (much younger than me) was looking for new headphones as well so had a listen to them and immediately bought pairs for her, her sister and parents.Really pleased.

this makes me very sad, I've had them for 10 months now, and today was the last day I'm going to use them. I've only used them at my pc, and could not believe the build quality is so poor. they were always on my desk never, drop them, never stress them in any way yet to come home, put them on my ears like I always do and witness how they just broke. I really wasn't expecting this from monster.

These headphones are probably the best I've ever had. Really rich sound, there hasn't been a genre of music which hasn't sounded good with these. There are two ports you can connect an aux cable to underneath each headphone. In the long run this might be pretty handy since with headphones often it's the cable that dies first. With these you can replace the cable and if it's the port just switch to the other one!

Bought these to replace the same older model. Mine snapped in the exact same place twice. First pair lasted about 2 years. Second pair about 9 months. Wouldn't recommend. Although compared to beats solos they are still preferable.

These were great (while they lasted) - for the price, the quality of the audio was great. A little bit tight on the head and that's probably what led to the head band snapping in half after 6 months of daily use.
