VYTRONIX Tower Fan 78cm 45W Oscillating 3 Speed Cooling Slim Freestanding Portable Quiet Home Office

We had been having difficulties getting a decent night's sleep due to the warm, muggy conditions. We already have a conventional fan that we use downstairs, but it didn't really work well when we tried it in the bedroom, as we couldn't position in a suitable place to create a draught across the bed itself.This tower fan has solved the problem for us. Its slim design means that it doesn't take up much floor space and the height of it means that you can feel it blowing across the top of the bed and keeping you nice and cool.There are 3 intensity settings for the fan in a fixed position and, similarly, there are 3 intensity setting for the fan in its oscillating function. We leave the fan on throughout the night in its lowest oscillating setting. This is the quietest, but does a perfectly good job of keeping us cool. There is obviously noise from the fan, but we don't find that it disturbs us. If you have used an air conditioning unit when you are away on holiday, then the background "thrum" that you get is comparable to the noise from this tower fan.There are far more expensive tower fans on the market, but so far this one has performed very well. It was well packaged on arrival and looks sleek and stylish. It certainly looks more expensive that it actually was.

Overall i am happy with this product and think its great value, however, i was shocked when i came home from work yesterday to see it had been left on my doorstep while i was at work! I appreciate this is not the sellers fault but anyone could have taken the item. Also when i opened it, it has a few marks and paint on the cable which is very odd as it was all wrapped up, however, it does look second hand because of this. I am happy with the product as it is fit for purpose.

It's noisy and not in a typical "fan" kind of way. I personally could sleep with it but I don't think many people could. It's like a high pitched whirring motor sound. It's not loud loud, but it's there and a bit annoying but its been hot so I've been glad to have a fanItem didn't look brand new. looked like it was used and sent back (prob because of the noise) and the seller just resold, a bit annoyed but it's an okish fan for the price.Delivery was fast3 settings for oscillate mode and 3 settings for fixed mode.No remote, no sleep mode.Only thing you need to build is the base, 6/7 (can't remember off top of head) screws. It's simple. Seems stable. Hope it lasts.

This fan is very good value for the price. I was slightly put off with some of the negative reviews but decided to cut my losses and make an order. Very glad I did because this fan is just what I wanted. Yes it does make a slight noise but no more than any other fan I’ve ever had and I can still hear my tv over it without having to turn the volume up.

Came 3 days early...Easy to assemble, stable, not silent but unobtrusive enough, easy to use, smart looking enough,doesnt use as much as most light bulbs to run.. the shrink wrap was a pita to get off as it assembled with it on,but no problem really.. its a 25 quid fan, so dont expect a dyson air blaster ,it performs fine and is a good price

I'm pleased with its performance overall, it does the job it needs to do at a decent price, but it arrived with plastic trapped inside which was making a noise as it brushed against the fan blades and could have been dangerous (e.g. if it melted against the motor and caught fire) so I had to open it up and remove it, then it was much quieter and safe.

My parents put it together but there is some random bits of plastic hanging out the cracks but just pull them off and its not a problem. It is quite a strong fan that im surprised at the power of it as it was cheap. It does rotate but could do with being a little quieter. Overall good product and would buy again!

It was pretty easy to put this together. The airflow is decent (I just wish the lowest setting would be a lot lower) and the highest setting really throws a lot of air out. My only gripe is that it tends to rattle when the oscillate is on. Everything has been screwed in firmly so I'm not sure why it rattles.
