TV finally feels smart
Bought this for model UF7300. Comparing this to the stock remote is like night and day. After using the stock remote for 6 months, frequently used buttons began to no longer work or required very hard pressure. I've had remotes that have lasted decades so this was pretty unsatisfactory. Knowing that I needed a replacement, I wasn't willing to stick with the same remote and so I opted into paying a little more for the magic remote. I've heard and read the good and bad about these but I had little option. I could've went with a generic universal remote but even decent ones was more than the magic remote.Once received, it did take me over 20+ tries to get it to register with my tv; to the point where I was frustratingly looking at support blogs. After attempting a variety of random sequences, I was finally able to get it to work although not sure which method succeeded. Once registered, I was amazed. The onscreen pointer makes a world of difference as well as the scrolling function. I was able to get in and out of apps/inputs easier than before. It finally felt like a smart tv. Additionally, I was surprised that I could register this to my other devices such as my sound bar, cable box, AND it automatically works with my Amazon Fire TV box which was a bonus. I wasn't really expecting to use this as an all-in-one remote but the added capability is great. In regards to its durability/life, it's hard to tell at this point. Everything looks and feels solid but only time will tell. If this lasts longer than a year, I would consider it worthwhile. It's not too expensive and it functions better than the stock remote, which beats my expectation.

No epic failures ... just not the perfect control, as some advertisements may purport.
If we could find a documented OEM LG Part Number for a lower-end remote that would function 100-percent with our LD OLED 55EF9500 then we'd send this AN-MR600 Magic Remote back. Magic remote works but has several disappointing issues. Center dial selector is extremely sensitive. This button/dial, although capable of rolling thru channels as a selector, goes way too fast thru options on the TV. Even a slightest brush against this wheel when feeling around for another button in the dark will throw you onto another channel by accident. Speaking of searching for buttons in the dark, there is no light on this remote. We'll certainly memorize where things are in a few more months, but in the mean time our frustration factor is high whilst trying to transition into this product. Also, if your used to having a decimal button for HD channels like we are, well... no decimal on this remote. Users are expected to select using the 4-position circle around the outside of that super sensitive center dial. This, yet again, presents a problem because merely brushing the dial very easily and unintentionally throws you into another channel. On the plus side, voice function is pretty cool and overall range is superb in comparison to our last setup. At the end of the day, no epic failures ... just not the perfect control, as some advertisements may purport.

Change the way you watch TV.
I bought this remote to go to replace a missing remote on a new LG TV. Depending on your TV features this really changes things. The point and click nature (think Wii-mote but better) has totally made my set more useful. The voice option is really cool. Simply push a button and say "game console" and it switches to the input named the same; or say "Netflix" and it opens up the Netflix app. There's a scroll wheel for flipping down the page in apps or browser, if your TV has that feature (mine does). The price was well worth it.Pros:Makes your TV do moreEasy to set upEasy to useFeels comfy in the handCons:Very TV specific. There are multiple versions of the Magic Remote, make sure you get the right one.Small learning curve. The pointer moves at the boundary of the screen, not by pointing the the screen.Other notes:My remote looks a little different than the one pictured (buttons labeled differently).

We will NOT be returning this remote because it is nice to have a 'back up' remote capable of the ...
Be aware that the LG 55EF9500 OLED TV will not allow 2 or more remote controls use 'higher functions' from 2 different remotes at the same time.I bought this remote so that my wife, from sitting across the room from me and the original TV remote, could control the TV. After receiving this remote we have discovered that the TV will allow more than one remote to turn the TV On and Off, change the channel, the volume and mute and no other functions. However, you can NOT do 'higher functions' such as changing the source input, view the TV guide or change TV settings from more than one remote at a time. The TV will allow these 'higher functions' from this (second) remote, but ONLY if you used this remote to turn the TV on initially. Basically, whichever remote the TV 'learns' (my term, not LG's) which of the 2 remotes is the 'boss' at the time of powering on.We will NOT be returning this remote because it is nice to have a 'back up' remote capable of the higher TV functions should the original remote disappear. But if all you want is a second remote to power on and off, change the volume and channels and mute, you could get a cheaper, LG compatible remote form Walmart that could do these things.

Unsure at first but worth the wait
I waited over two months for this product to ship to me from wherever it came from...but man it was worth the wait. The ability to use the mouse on the screen is a game changer for ease of use and also being able to control your cable box, blu Ray and sound system all integrated is a huge plus and what makes it "magical"Missing a star because they should have still included a play/pause/rew/FF buttons and also no menu button.

Good replacement for standard remote
Works good with LG 43UF6430, need LG AN-WF500 though. Only one drawback for this **NEWEST **MAGIC remote is lack of qwerty keyboard like it was on AN-MR400Q (comes with LG Google TV 55GA7900), so for search in youtube or netflix you can only use directional buttons or cursor (for Netflix only)

It's a magic wand for LG TV
Everything works fine, fortunately I had an LG wifi dongle, otherwise it wouldn't have worked with my TV. It's nice to have only one remote to control everything
