After having 2 different Masterlocks fail on me, and having to have the gym staff cut them off, I finally put quality over quantity and bought a Squire lock. It seems incredibly sturdy, has a very smooth opening when you input the code, and has never jammed up. It works exactly how it's supposed to. I waited 2 months after purchase before leaving a review to see if it would hold up after 50+ uses. Also it has no issues fitting in through the lock holes on lockers, in case you were looking for a gym lock. 10 / 10 would recommend.

This has held up through one winter rainy season in the Pacific Northwest, and shows only minimal signs of rust/wear as we head into its second. It is not directly exposed to the elements with a slight roof overhang protecting it from some rain, but it definitely gets wet in big storms. I was worried about it seizing up and having to cut it, but so far so good!

I love how heavy duty this is and it’s easy to use and easy to reset.

I use these locks on my trailers. When I unlock the door I hang the lock on the side of the trailer. This lock does not allow you to scramble the lock while it is open. People walking by can see the combination while it is hanging. The lock must be kept closed and scrambled in between uses which can be a burden when using it daily.

After a year it still works and looks great! Not too heavy or big. Took no time to set up and great value for money.

Nice heavy duty lock. When unlocked the shackle is longer than expected and can't be depressed when turned to put on a loop, so it can be hard to fit onto lockers with a recessed area around the loop.

A good lock overall, but not great. It doesn't fit my garage bolt the normal way-- it only fits if you put it on backwards, with the numbers facing the garage door, which is less than optimal. It is also at least slightly irritating that the Amazon website and the company's own website strongly imply that the lock is made in the UK, but in fact it is made in China. That kind of bait-and-switch bugs me.

I bought this for my outdoor storm cellar door. I wanted something I couldn't lock myself out of and this was what I came up with. This lock has been on my door for several months in the cold, snow, rain, and hot sun. It still works perfectly. It is showing a bit of discoloration around the loop, but I'm not experiencing any issues locking or unlocking it. I highly recommend it.
