My previous thermostatic bar only lasted 2 years. After seeking advice from a builder and 2 plumbers merchants, all extremely negative and wouldn't order the bar saying you might as well by a new shower, although it's a standard size, the absolute wrong thing to say to me. I'm on my own, a female and in my 60's and so googled and hesitated for too long before ordering this thermostatic bar. It arrived well packaged after about 5 days. It's taken me 20 mins to change and all is working well so far. All I did was to turn my water off before hand. So easy and I've saved so much money.

Excellent thermostatic shower valve, replacement for a more expensive cooke and Lewis model (which was poor in comparison) this is far better quality even down to the ease of turning the temperature up and down, the controls glide round with easeEasy to install and even came with ptfe tape to improve installationCannot recommend highly enough, especially for under £40

I bought this to replace a faulty one. It was straightforward to fit in place of the existing, however the rubber seals for the inlets that are shown in the instructions weren't included so I needed to reuse the old ones (thankfully they were OK). It seems to work fine so far.

Great replacement for our old mixer.U won’t need any plumbing skills to fix it if you are doing a straight swap.Just remember to turn off your boiler and water.It is literally a 20 minute job.The mixer works brilliantly.

This shower bar is great and functions exactly as it should. It's good quality and sturdy and after paying more than double for my original one that soon broke I am over the moon with this one. When I saw the price I did initially think it would be inferior somehow but it in no way is.It's the standard size so it was just a straight swap and it also comes with square fittings but I just kept my round ones on.The temperature function is good and as I like my showers very hot it doesn't disappoint. There is also a lock so that it can't go over 38 unless you press it and turn so great if you have kids using the shower too.I've been using for a few months and theres been no issues so would definitely recommend.

Happy with my buy has my old one I took of to replace cost me more money and did not last long I was very disappointed until I found a replacement I looked at getting parts for the old one I took off but would cost me more money my answer would I buy again yes.

This has made having a shower so worth while, great control of the temperature, very easily installed, also excellent value
